Here we will go over all of the Nioh 2 Dream Region Missions. Dream region is the penultimate main region in the game and as such you will be facing some heavy challenges here. Ensure you level up and gear yourself accordingly.

You have a lot of missions to complete throughout Nioh 2, in total there are 20 Main Missions, 53 Sub Missions, 25 Dojo Missions and 9 Twilight Missions.

The Twilight missions which are much harder versions of some standard missions in the game and only appear sporadically at the rate of 2 every 24 hours (real time).

All of these missions can be completed on Dream of the Samurai which will help given the difficulty of the game, if you’re struggling to complete a mission, level yourself up a few times then come back for another go.

If you have already played Nioh, you will know what to expect here, if not then get ready for a tough slog through the missions in game which vary in difficulty requiring you to do anything from sneak through a village as you work towards taking down a single target or fight through enemy filled arenas in search of back to back boss fights.

Either way, we’re here to help you through the games missions as best as we can with a brief description on how to complete every mission in the region.

The 12 missions you need to complete in the Dream Region are:

1. The Mausoleum of Evil.
2. The Golden Castle.
3. Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo.
4. The Roaming Artisan.
5. The Bravest of the Brave.
6. Mataza of the Spear.
7. The Dream’s End.
8. Japanese Heart, Yokai Smarts.
9. Restoring Harmony.
10. Restless Spirits.
11. Yaksha Returns.
12. The Scented Letter.

Main Mission, level 100.
Go up and around the mission pass the Snowclops then take out the Karasu Tengu at the front of the Temple.

Smash the large amrita cluster in side the Temple and collect the Dragon God Jewel which needs to be placed in the Dragon Statue near the start of the mission lowering the water.

From here, head through the Temple going down the tree branch pathway then up and around smashing another amrita cluster, collecting the second Dragon God Jewel, use this on the Dragon Statue at the lowest part of the path allowing you to progress down through the latter part of the mission.

Next you need to go drop down through the tower, then up and through the building after the Dwellers pass the Snowclops where you can acquire the third Dragon God Jewel.

Use this on the statue, drop down to the lowest level of the Tower and rotate it by pulling the lever, from here, head back up and through the now open walkway to the Shuten Doji boss fight.

Defeat Shuten Doji to complete the mission.

Main Mission, level 105.
This is a heavy bossed based mission, you need to get through 4 bosses as you make your way through so be prepared and level yourself accordingly.

From the start of the mission, head through across the courtyard then up the stairs to the Enenra boss room, take it out and make your way up the stairs, across the rooftop and through to the next courtyard.

At the top of the stairs across the next courtyard will be the Yatsu-no-Kami boss room.

Once Yatsu-no-Kami has been defeated, head up and through the area to the Kasha boss room and defeat her allowing you to proceed through.

After you’re pass the Kasha boss fight, go up then take a left, drop down through the floor allowing you to kick the ladder down to the third shrine should you die to the next boss.

When you’re ready, head up through the dark realm to the Lady Osakabe boss fight. Defeat Lady Osakabe to complete the mission.

Main Mission, level 112.
Make your way up through to the top left of the first area, take out the Magatsu Warrior and grab the Sanbo-In Key allowing you to progress through the mission. Speak with Mumyo once you’re through the Sanbo-In gate to have her help you through the mission.

You need to smash the amrita rocks as you go through allowing you access to the final boss area from the third shrine.

Go left from the shrine pass the Rokurokubi and the Enki, smash the next amrita rock then proceed through staying right across the pathways to the third amrita rock where the Magatsu Warrior can be found.

You can now access the boss area where you will need to take down Tokichiro then immediately after Kashin Koji twice to complete the mission.

Sub Mission, level 103.
Speak with Maede Keiji to team up with him then head through taking out every yokai as you go including Waira and Karasu Tengu.

You will then need to take down Maede Keiji to complete the mission.

Sub Mission, level 104.
A one on one fight against the most powerful version of Maeda Toshiie, fill your amrita / anima gauges before engaging Maeda as he is truly formidable if you’re under prepared.

Defeat him to complete the mission.

Sub Mission, level 108.
Head up through each room taking out the yokai as you go, take extra care in the second room as there will be a Flying Bolt and an Ubume spawn together.

Also take care around those hand cannon wielding Yoki, keep going through the area taking out the yokai to the Kasha boss room.

Take Kasha down to receive the Spirit Stone Hairpin where you will complete the mission.
