The very best!! I love bringing friends and family here when they visit Reno- it truly is a must-see for anyone who loves movies, cats, history, really they have it all! Most recently brought my baby brother here for the holidays and he loved it! They truly care about keeping these cars looking lovely and they have so many fascinating tidbits of history- including cars that have raced out on the salt flats of Utah! Unique, beautiful experience, perfect for adults and kids that are old enough to be respectful and not touch the displays.

This was a wonderful find. Good location on Mill St in downtown Reno. Parking is free on location. $13 fee for seniors. Ooens at 9sm weekdays. Tour is at 1:30pm when docent is available. We were cheerfully greeted at the entrance and given information. Hubby and I love vintage cars. We were over whelmed by the 175 automobiles. Each gallery is excellently displayed by theme and vintage year. We were amazed by the excellent shape of the autos. The Hollywood gallery was fun. We allowed to get inside the Model T auto for personal pictures. They had hats abd boas to wear for the pictures. There is a video room for viewing. There gift shop was fun to check out for souvenirs.

The National Automobile Museum in Reno is an amazing museum to visit if you like cars. There are over a hundred cars in the museum with different galleries that change for the era of cars in each gallery. There are also some historic famous cars that were either celebrity cars, in movies, or just one of a kind cars. They also have different exhibits and change out a few cars about every three months or so. Well worth a visit if in Reno to see some amazing cars throughout history.

Fantastic auto museum! The displays take you through automotive history decades at a time. And they have a large selection of rare and odd cars. They also have some famous cars that have been in movies including the Batmobile. If you’re coming to Reno this is a great way to spend two hours. Any car enthusiast will thoroughly enjoy the museum

Fun museum to visit. The car placards have detailed information about them. The sets that they have created to go along with the cars add an immersive effect. I wish they had some hands-on stuff for children or a vehicle a child could get into. Even an old car horn a child could honk would be nice. My daughter still enjoyed herself but this is definitely more aimed at adults.

We loved everything about this museum. The displays are amazing. The people who work there are friendly. There is even a movie theater inside to learn about automobiles. Love the history lesson of the automobile with all the visual aids ;^)

Highly recommended! If you have an hour or 2 to spare, use it here! It's incredible! So many cars and in different areas from the 1900s to present. Every car has a story so if you want to read all of them, it might take you 3 to 4 hours. Very friendly and helpful staff and clean restrooms. Plenty of parking also.

WOW, hard to describe! If you are in Reno, don't miss this stop, even if you are not a car fan. The incredible job of recreating the storefronts with the cars parked out front is amazing. All indoor walking is easy, and park benches along the way to sit a spell. The staff is amazing; they love their jobs and can't wait to explain all of the details involved. Plenty of selfie stations some with costumes. Really nice exhibit with so much history.

This place is absolutely awesome. 4 huge galleries of every kind of car imaginable. Celeb cars, old cars, race cars, you name it! Great historical explanations too and interactive stuff for kids. They even have a curatorial theme of women in cars. If Reno's tawdry side has you down, come here. Wish all museums were this engaging. A true gem.

Omg... whether ur a car freak or not, great place 2 visit on a hott day or any day 4 that matter. Sum of the finest vehicles n memorabilia y'all could feast ur eyes on. Very impressed n the staff were top notch.

Wow. Very fun place to visit. My favorite cars that I've seen is Toy Story Yo Truck, Tesla, Jurassic Park, Grease, and Back to the Future. So cool. You're in for a treat. Highly recommend this place.

This Museum was really Awesome!!! They have so many nice and interesting cars to look at. I think they said about 240 cars. We paid $15 for Adult General Admission. They also offer tours but we unfortunately did not have time. I recommend visiting this museum if you have never been. 10/10 would visit again.

Fantastic, surprisingly amazing place to spend a few hours. If you have a chance to take a tour with the docent - you'll find this even more interesting. Incredible collection of trigger point and history making automobiles gives you a feel for the evolution of the entire automotive industry. So many interesting exhibits, informative signage for each, and really nice displays - like gas stations, streets scenes, and other great setting to complement the autos. The story of how this exhibit came to be is almost as interesting as the autos themselves. I learned so much from the docent, and I thought I was already kind of a car guy. I'll be back again, it was that good! Highly recommended, even if you're not a car guy - you'll learn why cars today work the way they do, and reasons why. Thanks for making this such a great museum!

Great experience! Kids are free, 15 general, 13 seniors.Pretty awesome collection! Even some Hollywood cars and cycles. Spend about 90 minutes. Well worth it!

Gear head delight! Walking through the historical innovations of what made our modern motors today was a treat, and very informative and friendly staff. I must visit if you love cars/history!

Really cool museum if you want to learn more about cars and the history behind them! I believe they have 200+ mainly cars pre 1940s but they also have some fun cars that were in movies.The volunteers are super nice and great if you have questions!

Always enjoy visiting the collection and seeing what new exhibits are present. Currently, as of April 2024, You can see the Adam Carolla collection of Paul Newman race cars and memorabilia. I wished they weren't so packed in close together, but very cool anyway.

Wanted to do something fun for my husband, that did not involve gambling. They had so many amazing cars. A great way to spend a couple of hours in Reno.

It is a wonderful place to see a lot of vintage cars and movie cars, especially the real F1 cars of former F1 champions Raikkonen and Hamilton! Staff are warm, friendly and well worth watching!

5 out of 5 stars! This place is awesome!!! Me, my 3 yr old and my husband were entertained for hours. SO much to see, and SO much fun stuff to do...for all ages. Staff super friendly. I know every time we return to Reno we will be making a stop here, wish we lived closer. Fantastic place to take the entire family or just yourself.

One of our favorite places lately. They have tons of great things for kids and adults to play. We have the year membership which is extremely affordable and worth it. We have also done a birthday party here and it was a great time. They have a nice party room with pretty much a kitchen inside and offer party convenient kits for the plates and cups and other stuff to help you out. I really can't say enough and the exhibits are changing all the time. There are also fun projects in the work shop. Yesterday they were doing a lunar egg drop experiment and we also made and launched a rocket

My boys are 9, 12, 14 and they loved it! They had a fun science experience all the kids we enthralled and engaged having so much! It was super busy because of fall break. There new exhibit is amazing you get to see them feed a turtle at 1pm and a sloth at 4pm! Not sure if its the same everyday! I've been taking my kids here since they opened and every time there is something fun and exciting going on! I absolutely love the mind bender mansion! Its so fun trying to figure out the puzzles! The staff are so fun to talk to and they keep the kids excited about learning and they are always smiling and just so sweet!

Our party of older and younger kids all found ways to spend hours here. There is so much of so many varied activities that makes this place amazing. On this Wednesday, ages under 5 were allowed in early. There is a designated area for younger kids. Children are allowed to draw on a glass wall. They are allowed to build whatever they imagine with a variety of objects. Children are not only taught but they are encouraged to explore and experience. There is water, a river, that might require a change of shirts or close supervision. There are a series of clouds enclosed with steel netting to climb up that our kids spent a lot of time in. Too much to even try to list it all, and for a reasonable price. Every child should experience this at least once and preferably again and again

We went on Wednesday after 4 for 5.00. My daughter had fun. A couple of things were out of order, but that's to be expected when dealing with kids. Overall, it is a good place to take kids when visiting Reno.

The museum seems small but my kids played here for many hours and didn't want to leave! Live scientific lecture for children. Puzzle room. A very interesting exposition of a mountain river with which children can play. When you want to be a child again and play, you realize that this is a really special museum.

Celebrated our girl's 1st birthday in the orange party room. Staff was very nice and everyone had a great time. Refrigerator in the party room was very helpful as were the carts that we could use to load/unload. I would definitely recommend for a birthday party or just a visit.

Really wish this place opened earlier. You could beat the heat an spend more time here. Honestly there is so much to explore and spend time doing you would need to come back 3/4 times to get it all in.Some exhibits lacked info or instructions, didn’t work, had no one around to help, or was so busy even waiting 30 mins we had to skip.I do recommend that they get another car for the little kids area. That seemed much more popular. One car with 5/7 kids all trying to use it. I’d also recommend a staff member there to encourage parental involvement. There were kids who were outside the age range making it difficult for the little ones to actually play an parents acting like it was free daycare just sitting scrolling on their phones. While other kids really wanted a turn with the car. Parents need to work on teaching kids to take turns.The wood shop was another favorite, but we missed it an didn’t get to it till late. Meaning we didn’t have much time to fully use its area to its full potential. You could easily spend the day in there with all the choices. We had 10 mins unfortunately due to time constraints.The parking lot is a decent size but by the time we came out at 1130 it was full.If I’m ever in Reno again I would definitely stop here. Staff overall were great.

A stellar place to take the kids and fun for the adults too! It can get crowded from time to time. Be sure to bring an extra pair of clothes for the little kiddos in case they get pretty wet playing in the water feature. We ended up buying a family pass and it's been well worth the price.

Amazing time with my son at this fully interactive discovery museum. We came to visit family in Reno for a week and stayed downtown and most activities are geared towards adults. This place was a gem to find! And I even dropped my debit card on the ground and a nice samaritan picked it up and turned it in! Overall, the experience was excellent and we will return!

It's such an amazing place for adults and children. I'd never been nor ever heard. Strange to me as I've lived in area for a very long time. It wasn't until I was looking for something cool to do with my little people that I came across it online. I became engulfed in the descriptions of what was offered, daily entry, events, and options for all ages. Well designed, feels airy and inviting. You can take your time to mosey on through and the learning experiences are evidently research based for this year! It is now one of my favorite spots. Hitting all the levels of learning.

My toddler spent a delighted hour and a half in just one room! Educational, hands-on play is everywhere. As a teacher, I am delighted with all the activities my children get to enjoy here.The staff are polite and helpful. The whole building is wheelchair accessible so bringing a stroller is easy.I am overjoyed that my children have a safe place to play when the weather is too cold or too hot for regular playgrounds. I definitely recommend getting a membership.

We like the Discovery museum..although not so much on days when it's super crowded with kids. I try and go on the non busy days so as to avoid catching a case with people and their non home trained kids because there are people who bring their kids out unfortunately that they do not home train so watch your children! Otherwise the Discovery museum is pretty good.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Discovery! 💡 There are many interactive exhibits and experiences! I really liked the big tire 🛞 you can walk under and the plane ✈️ you can sit down in! 😁A great place to visit solo or family trip! 🗺️Souvenir shop was excellent 🙌 There was many neat science stickers 🧫 🧪

We were gifted a membership for Christmas. We finally went today. We spent 3 hours there. There's definitely lots for kids to do. I don't have toddler littles, but I very much appreciated that there was a play area for kids age 5 and younger only. My kids are 11 and 6, and they loved it. Gift shop has tons of cool stem toys, some I haven't seen before! The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is so many exhibits were out of order, which typically is understandable but both our kids were at the museum end of December 2022 and my 11 year old stated that most of these were broken back then. Regular maintenance should be routine since kids are generally rough on things, so to see things sit for months without repair was disappointing. I would love to suggest that in the puzzle room or maybe on the map, you list the answers to the puzzles. We tried a few for a while but couldn't figure them out. 😆 We will be back again for sure.

Came in on their 90th anniversary with free admission. On the smaller side of the museums I've been to, took about 2 hours to tour. Open spaces and attractive presentations. Was surprised to see the clay pieces by Picasso and the historic landscapes of Nevada.

The Nevada Museum of Art is a wonderful delight for all ages!The staff are welcoming, kind and helpful with navigating around the Museum. The security staff are vigilant, yet kind, and pleasantly informative about the galleries.Budget-friendly once a month(for families who may need it) as they have free admission for all, PLUS amazing crafts for kids to do! We attended the glass painting, and weaving recently, and will definitely be back! =)My one & only complaint is their parking lot is quite small, other than that, 5 stars!

Nice modern art museum with lots of information about land art, artists in NV, watercolor... If you have affiliations with the military, make sure to ask for the blue star discount(?) from May to September this year (2021). Nice, clean sculpture garden to walk around, small parking lot.

Saw the Jean LaMarr and Picasso in Clay exhibitions. They also offer art classes in the museum, which I think is pretty cool. The architecture of the museum itself is quite unique. A nice experience.

Modern art museum with local artists work about land,smoke ,watercolour etc. Really enjoyed Judy Chicago’s unique dry ice,smoke and firework archive . Loved the water colour portraits and unique concepts display . The roof was also nice with city view …small manicured garden to walk around with a small parking lot.

Great special exhibit on The Ghost Army! The docents, item explanations, and displays were super. I also watched the movie and learned a lot of history that I never knew. Those WWII Soldiers were heroes, and the secret they kept so long was amazing.

Exceptional artwork. The attached photos of sculptures became interactive through my phone and were very educational about life's journey.

Beautifully curated exhibits, in well-architected space. Visit the penthouse upstairs with expansive views of Reno and surrounding mountains. Worth a visit when in town.

I am a Native Nevadan, born and raised. I have been visiting the art museum since my 20's. I also receive newsletters for new rotating exhibits. The staff are friendly and welcomes you upon entering. You're always greeted with a smile, like family. My boyfriend & I went in to see "The art of Ben Aleck." There were pieces I hadn't seen before, so that was a treat. We like to support local Native artists in the area, especially, Great Basin Artists. We also checked out the Ghost Army exhibit, which was very interesting. We learned things they don't teach us in school about WWII. I would recommend both when you have some free time! Become a member so you can be notified about Artown events at the museum! It is a great place to escape to experience adventure and artistic perspective.

We enjoyed the collection and exhibits especially the “Sagebrush and Solitude: Maynard Dixon in Nevada.” Highly recommended.

The best collection of Maynard Dixon's Nevada and Eastern Sierra pieces that I've ever see in one place, with the exception of Mark Sublette's Medicine Man, about a quarter century ago. Outstanding presentation and exhibition book. Parking was a little tough during construction but after scoping it out the day before fresh up from Bishop, we arrived an hour before the museum opened to get one of a handful of spaces in the lot. Well worth the wait. Thank you to all involved who made Dixon's works available to the public.

Way overpriced for what it is. The exhibits are good by all means, but you should only go here if you appreciate supporting the arts. That is what you're doing by going here. I've been to free museums with much better exhibits. Very disappointed. But fortunately I do like supporting the arts so the hefty price has less of a blow. Added pictures of my 3 favorite exhibits. Took me about 15 minutes to make it through the whole museum. Dollar per minute ain't good enough value. I'm sure I could have spent more time but there wasn't anything worth engaging with.

Hands down one of my favorite venues to work a wedding or any event! Nikki is amazing and is there for our clients every step of the way. I highly recommend having your wedding or event at the Museum of Art. Especially if you are a lover of Art.

Reno is so lucky to have this exceptional museum that brings relevant, poignant, and thought provoking works to our community.I am always impressed by the quality of artists, the variety of shows and the carefully organized events. I especially appreciate the focus on the exploring human impacts on the environment and celebrating community.

Every time I've come here, there have been fascinating exhibits. Our family has also taken children's art classes here which have been wonderful.

The buffet was outstanding - we went mid week for lunch and it was $33/pp before tip and tax. There was something for everyone and lots of tables/booths to pick from. I will definitely be back.The casino floor is typical, dark, smokey, and has most evening you'd expect to see. There's lots of parking and several entrances which makes it easy to access. It's a great stop right before heading to the airport.

Valet will not park your truck if you have anything in the back, even if you explain that you just were hauling away some stuff for your parents and that it is garbage you don't care if anyone takes it. Not even if you were to sign something releasing thm from liability if that stuff were taken. We were only there for the night, so we said whatever and didn't opt for a second like we had planned. We were in the middle of our road trip to Oregon and back to New Mexico. The room was nice. We had a 1 bedroom with a hot tub. It came with a cheap free breakfast, which 3 people hit my husband up about asking him, "Do you belong in here? What is your room number? It would not have bothered me, but they only asked one other person the whole time we were there. Another man with a beard. You the funny thing is my husband tips everyone, and he tips more than most. It's like $20 every time he needs something out of the truck. Which can be quite a few times thanks to my daughter and I.

Safety...Be careful displaced individuals can access the hotel easily and blend in with the guest. Security is constantly removing homeless people from the property daily.Rooms...The rooms are very clean and spacious.Food...If you're on a budget I suggest you eat out on the town. The concierge room offers access to the Concierge lounge which runs out of food 30 to 45 minutes after opening. If you snooze you lose!Kid-friendly...I don't think so! Video arcade room and pool only. After hours the kids run up and down the hallways unattended.Just my two cents...

For the hotel I was very happy I stayed in a spa room and found the water pressure to be top tier and out of this world. Staff were friendly and professional. Personally I found the casino and the restaurant attached to it to be a bit too smoky for my taste. Even the non smoking areas of the casino are pretty smoky. That's not really Atlantis' fault though, none of the Reno casinos have more than a few slot machines set aside in a tiny non smoking area. That's just how it is but at least the hotel room itself was smoke free and comfortable.

Always loved staying here with my family. Kids love the pool and staying in our room. Experience great except this morning we checked out and went to Starbucks cashier kept rolling her eyes and impatient because my 3 boys took 2 min to figure out what flavor cupcake they wanted! Someone else made my drink but still very rude and there were no other customers, sorry I kept you from not doing anything! Will not go back to starbucks.

I've been going here for years. I really appreciate the game floor not being so smoky as others. A lot of great restaurants ample parking. I might add easy parking plus their parking structure. Once about years ago I had my rent a car stolen in there parking structure but everyone helped and got me to the airport and it was all sorted out later. This trip was uneventful and relaxing. I noticed very conscientious security.

I came here with my mom to check out the casino and it's nice. Not as good as I thought it would be but it did have a lot of the games that I like. My mom received great service from one of the employees. The lady was able to get her a player's card without her going to do it herself. Drink service was fast. We enjoyed the hour that we were there. And parking was a breeze. We found an open space close to the door. It was nice being that my mom forgot her handicap placket back at our room.

Plenty of parking, polite security, enjoyed an excellent first rate dinner at the Napa Bistro. No reservations on a Saturday night, and it was very busy- we were sat immediately and had great service. This establishment knows how to run a tight ship! We will certainly be back. Recommend for casual dining or special dinner out.

We always come here for the food! We love the Manhattan Deli. Matzo ball soup, blintzes and burgers are delicious. The whole family, even the kids enjoy it. The robot waiter is fun to watch, too!

Atlantic Casino is top Shelf, classy, clean, fancy. The parking lot is very well lit I feel safe coming and going the food is excellent the service is out of this world fantastic. Id recommend it to anyone the casino slots are loose the workers are very polite. I love it here so well you.

The absolute BEST!!! Spent 3 days and loved all the restaurants and casino games. Huge variety! Loved the people from cafe servers to valet personnel and hotel staff. Steakhouse was fabulous, just amazing! It truly is a casino spa resort. We didn't feel the need to go any place else except Lake Tahoe.

We only stopped by for lunch at their sushi bar on this trip on 11/28/2023. We were the first ones seated. I know, bummer as this is where we always stay when we go to Reno since the old Clarion days. I am bummed out again because the quality of the rice was bad. It was crunchy and clumpy and it felt like it was left over rice that had been refrigerated. Not the first time this happened.

Atlantis Hotel I think is a great hotel. I don’t think it’s too kid friendly, definitely adult friendly. Somewhat upscale. The people are somewhat friendly. The location good near freeway, but my ideal location of a hotel is to have activities nearby and of course a Starbucks outside of the hotel (that’s just me)They do have a PF Chang and Olive Garden nearby along with some fast food places.Our room was clean when we returned. Soft beds. Fast service when need help with our remote. They don’t let you win :( money. They have a buffet place, top floor restaurant, cafes, small market, & boutique and arcades for kids. Tesla charging plenty of parking. Overall it’s a nice hotel. I recommend but not for families.

Took my daughter for her birthday. She got a spa pedicure. The pedicurist was phenomenal she said. I myself got a facial. My lady was extraordinary as well, educational kind gentle soft-spoken and relaxing. Of course the rest of the amenities of the day spa access are of what you make it. We took advantage of the hot tubs and the pool. We even took a nap in the brine room. The steamy sauna in the locker rooms are my favorite and to end the visit with. After that you are able to use the sugar scrubs and their luxurious showers. It's easy to get ready for the rest of the day or evening because they supply hair dryers curling irons and straighteners. Pretty much anything you need just ask and the attendance are always incredibly helpful and super sweet. We are locals and this is our number one spot to go to.

We stayed here over the summer for a weekend getaway and we love the Atlantis. We had a standard room in the middle tower and it was the nicest standard room I’ve stayed in. It had a marble bathroom and was large. We were also inside the glass elevator and I couldn’t hear the elevator moving around.The food at the Atlantis is good! The Purple Parrot is a good place for breakfast and the sushi on the sky terrace is really good too. The only downside is that it’s kinda far away from the rest of Reno, but other than that it’s a great place. I can’t wait to visit again.

The mother's day buffet was amazing. A wide variety of well prepared and presented foods, including duck, lamb, beef Wellington and so much more. My only complaint is that the girl on the reservation line gave me the wrong price and we paid over $20 per person more than we budgeted based on the cost we were given. Well worth the price, but it would have been nice to know the actual cost going in.

Great room. 5 star, in my book. Comfortable, clean, with excellent front desk service. The restaurants are excellent as well. Weekend prices were too steep for us, but the weekday was a good value.

A little piece of magic in the desert. I really like the Atlantis. The Purple Parrot is a great little diner for a quick bite. I always seem to win a little money on the slots or tables. Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful. For a older casino it seems to still be in good shape, not too smokey and kept clean. If you want to play away from downtown, it a good little spot. The rooms are a little older but were also very clean. There some shopping near by if you need any sort of vacation supplies.

Awesome staff. Plenty of machines to play high chance of winning. If you have a player's card you get many, many perks only casinos stay at. The rooms are so nice and they offer 24 hr room service.

We reserved a room so we could stay the night after my husband's company's holiday party. The rooms were okay. they're in the middle of remodeling so it was kind of unsettling when we first walked onto our floor and you see no ceiling panels above you and paper covering the doors and but once we realized what was going on obviously it made sense. But we weren't informed of all of that at check-in. I noticed a little letter sitting on the entertainment center by the TV that says we might hear noise because of remodeling. I just think it would have been better to be on a different floor. The party was in a very nice banquet room and the food was amazing.

Let's start with the good news. The steakhouse had the best service anywhere I have ever been. It was awesome, and the service alone is worth the high cost. The rest of the casino resort does not live up to that standard and is a disappointment in many ways.

We stayed for 6 nights in the Sliver Legacy. We were originally quoted a much lower price than we got, they did not honor the booking discount we were given. We got into town with 2 kids in the car, and requested an early check in for the first day. It wasn't until we checked out that we realized that they had charged us that early check in fee for EVERY day we were there, when it was clearly stated it was for only one day. My wife checked out and didn't catch the mistake. I've since called, and was redirected to the billing department. Conveniently for them, they did not answer during business hours. They have yet return my voice message.During our stay, we kept the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door every day and did the cleaning ourselves, as we were not in the room midday. On one of the days the housekeeping had come in despite the sign on the door, and the sign itself was just laying on the floor of our room. If they had come in to clean why didn't they pick that up?I wont be staying here again.

We are really enjoying our stay here (it's our 2nd full day out of 3.5). The staff has been very friendly. The room is clean and spacious. Christine at the front desk was awesome and helped us get checked in a day early, and got us a beautiful room with an amazing view, per my husband's picky requests. She was very accommodating. There are many places to choose from to eat, and it is conveniently located on The Row close to the bowling center (the reason we are here) and other casinos. There are also family friendly activities offered inside the hotel.

Honestly it's the only place I think I'll stay at when I visit Reno. I love the non-smoking rooms, the lobby doesn't smell like smoke, the environment from elevators and halls is a warm feeling. It's a pretty clean hotel as far as my visit went. I think the only thing I would say kind of sucked was a deposit being held close to another week after check out but again that may vary with your bank. Other than that I know what to expect and I will return. Thank you Silver Legacy.

Came here for a business conference at the Casino. The room was nice, but finding an opened condom wrapper in one of the dresser drawers in the room was an immediate turn off. Place is run down a bit, especially the parking garage vestibules to the elevators.Staff was very friendly when there was any type of interaction. A Kid working at the front desk was too busy on his phone for 5-10 minutes to notice me when I was looking for recommendations for a place to eat in the early hours of the morning before the conference started due to my schedule being off from dealing with a 3 hour time zone change. They could probably use a bell at the desk.Several restaurants had posted hours of operations, but hostesses said seating was shutting down an hour before official closing. Dinner at Roxy’s one night took forever, and they ran out of the cuts of beef that our party ordered and then brought different dishes as substitutions without even asking what they’d like. Food court tables and chairs were dirty from previous guests.Millie’s had excellent portions, good food, and the staff was friendly and helpful.Got a massage and both the spa staff and masseuse were great.Wish they could do better getting the cigarette smoke from the casino out of the hotel areas. I’m sure that’s a tough task.Self serve kiosks were nice for checking in and out.Overall I’d give it a 3 out of 5.

Overall, everything was satisfactory during my stay. Although the facilities were relatively old, it is understandable considering that many years the casino has been operating. However, the location was convenient with free parking and nearby amenities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic, which was greatly appreciated. This reflects the excellent training that management has worked hard on it. The only issue I encountered was with the small safe-box in my room, which was locked by a previous guest and could not be unlocked, even after reporting it to the front desk and requesting maintenance to fix it. Unfortunately, this issue was not resolved during my stay, and I had to carry my lap-top and document in and out of the hotel. I hope this was an isolated case and not a reflection of the entire maintenance department's performance.

We had the pleasure of staying at a most accommodating motel. They saw that my spouse was handicapped. They allowed us to use the valet parking. Rented us a scooter and just went out of their way to assist us. Everyone was so kind. My spouse and I loved the casino. This trip we drove through and could only stay one night. But next time we will fly in and would love to stay longer at the Silver Legacy. Thank all of you very kind staff for me!

The staff are all super nice. I love the convenience of being able to travel between the hotels all without having to go outside (perfect for when it’s too cold outside) the rooms were comfortable and big. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport which is so nice and convenient. The slot games are of good variety too and I love that they have a frozen slushy alcohol bar. It was Halloween time and there were a ton of decor throughout too which was nice!

We love the Silver Legacy. Always super clean, quiet, such a walkable hotel within the Row. Check in is always smooth and the workers are always friendly. Coffee in your room and a shop just past the lobby many good food options walkable within the row. This is a favorite place to stay knowing we will always have a clean room and quiet stay. Elevators work only with a key card so completely safe feeling. We plan to check out their pool next time. We feel its budget friendly while keeping a classy clean updated feel. Nothing negative to say, we love it as a fast getaway.

The rooms were very dirty. My family had to change our room twice. And it took 1 hour to change it. The first room had cookie crumbs everywhere. I think they hadn't cleaned the room. Our second room was even more dirty! In the bathroom, there was hairball and some weird crumbs.Since we had to change our rooms twice, we were all exhausted and couldn't rest properly after our long trip. I highly do not recommend you to stay here.

Stayed 2 nights at the Silver Legacy and we had a good time. The hotel staff was great and there are plenty of places to eat within the casino. The rooms had plenty of space and had a coffee maker and mini fridge. The casino isn't too big so it is easy to navigate. The co*cktail waitresses didn't come around as often as I would like. You can access the other 2 properties without going outside which was convenient. There are a few restaurants and liquor stores outside the casinos that are walking distance.

We got great non smoking rooms on a non smoking floor. Super clean and updated. Room and floor did not smell of smoke until you got to the elevators. Of the three casinos, this one smelled of smoke the least. Helpful staff, they gave out free champagne when they thought the check in line was too long. Decent dining options.

My recent stay at the Silver Legacy was a pleasant surprise. Having experienced dated rooms on a previous visit, I was delighted to find that everything had been freshly renovated this time around. The room was not only clean but also remarkably comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The view from the property was lovely, adding to the overall experience. The check-in process using the kiosk was incredibly easy and convenient, making it a hassle-free start to my stay. I would definitely recommend the Silver Legacy to anyone staying in the area. We booked our room for 2 nights. We had comps be they there were 2 different codes. This was confusing for the person booking the reservation and when we checked in.We finally got settled in and everything was good. Until 8 am the next morning. We were laying in bed just waking up. The lady from housekeeping knocked once and came on in. We had the do not disturb sign on the door. We told her we did not want services. She looked around the room and then left. What happens the next morning at 8am. The same lady knocked once and opened the door. I was walking towards the door and did not even have enough time to stop her. My husband had just gotten out of the shower and had to jump behind the door. I told her we have not checked out and my husband was naked. When I pointed out the the do not disturb was on the door she just said oh. Be sure to lock the dead bolt on the inside of the door. Not much privacy in the morning.

Huge lines just to get up to our room and back down. Only one elevator for certain floors.. it was crazy. But loved the atmosphere and the rooms were beautiful. Bring your own pillow though unless you want a stiff kneck

It was late and I was put off by the resort fee. I grumbled about it to the check-in associate, Christine. She was so sweet and caring that I almost forgot about my disdain for resort fees.Then, much to my surprise, the room was fantastic! Very modern, clean, and comfortable. And a great view of snow covered mountains. Slept like a baby.I typically prefer to check out in person at the desk. Much to my delight, Christine was there. Her lovely smile (hidden behind the covid face covering) was the perfect way to end a delightful stay at Silver Legacy.A final shot at the resort fee: Note to management Lose the resort fee, please! The stay was worth every dollar - including the dreaded fee. Just be honest, roll the fee into the basic room rate. You've got a great place, don't tarnish it with a mandatory fee that no one likes.

Nice room. Very clean and comfortable. The casino can use a overhaul though. Not as many games as you'd expect and mostly old out dated ones.The location used to be the spot to be at, unfortunately and no fault of the silver legacy, that part of Reno seems to be dying out. All the cool spots are closed or going out of business.I do recommend going here with your kids because it's connected with circus circus and your kids will have the time of their lives.As long as you don't go outside and stay warm in the three connected casinos that make up "The Row", it's worth at least checking out

I would have given it 4 stars for the cleanliness and most of the staff, but due to the front desk not being honest and the hotel playing music at all hours outside our room, I couldn't. I gave one star because the room was clean. And one star because the cleaning staff and casino staff were good. The issue I had with Silver Legacy was that I barely got any sleep due to speakers from their pool playing music 24hrs a day even though the pool is closed from 8 pm to 8 am every night. If you're staying on the 5th floor and are anywhere near the pool, you will have the music going. The front desk will tell you they will look into it or it's a party, but they will not actually do anything about it. We called and went down in person twice and even spoke to a supervisor. Luckily, we were only there for 2 nights. In the pics are the speakers I am talking about. Now, if the pool was open 24 hours, I would have understood why they needed music at 3,4,5 am. But since the pool is closed and you can't use it. Why play music at all hours? I am a light sleeper, and we slept in the bed furthest from the windows, and it still kept waking me up. Otherwise, our view was nice, and it's within walking distance of the Nevada Art museum and good restaurants. Brew Brothers has good beer.

Always a fun time here. The people in all aspects of the hotel are very nice, courteous and attentive. The place is always super clean. I recommend the rum jungle for some good laughs. Ruth Chris is always a must and brews brothers I'd always on point as well. They also have one of the best sports books around.

I did a wonderful spa treatment (coffee scrub&massage). I think it was around $200 after taxes and 20 percent gratuity. Also, you can just use the spa services for $60 a day. They have a wonderful. Outdoor spa and patio with a water wall. Spa was hot, but I definitely took advantage of the cold weather wall.😄 They also ,behind that wall. Have the roof top pool ,which is down from the entrance of the spa to enter there, and they have towels for you and many different kinds of lounge chairs . It is much smaller than it looks like in the pictures online, but they do serve alcohol.😜4th floor. And you can use these things even if you are staying at circus circus or.?

I’ve never left a negative review before but this was so deserving. The customer service at this hotel is horrific. The concierge lady NADINE was absolutely so rude. When we approached her desk without looking up she told us to “wait” and we did which is no problem. But then after a long time she says “last name” without looking up and then repeats “I’m going to need a last name”. Rudely and flatly. The rest of the interaction was just as dreadful and it felt as if we were bothering her by checking in, and it was 9:15pm. I’m so unclear what we did to provoke this response but it made me feel unsafe and want to leave immediately. On the contrary, we went to dinner and god sent BRIDGET from Colorado. She saved the evening with her lovely personality. She was a kindred spirit, was super helpful, and jovial. She really turned the entire trip around.

The best thing about the hotel was location and free parking. Room is your standard casino hotel room. No microwave so can’t warm up leftovers. Service was all so impersonal, even the front desk. But I gave 4 stars for service because the business center people were very helpful when I needed to print a page.

Room was nice, clean, great view of the mountains. lobby was large, gaudy, and stunk of cheap perfume and cigarettes but it’s a casino so what else would you expect. Service behind the counter was sluggish. took a long time to get our room keys. Microwave as mandated in our hotel contract was in a completely different building, way too much of a hassle to get to. Long walk from the front door too. Disappointed that I may have to return at some point.

Pretty dated hotel, but the remote check-in and check-out was very convenient. The room was clean, spacious and quite up to date. Also loads of outlets and USB ports for all your charging needs. Decent bathroom with nice shampoos, soaps and lotions. The location is very central, and the few highlights Reno (city) has to offer are all easily reached on foot. Free parking is available.

We had an event here and the casino is beautiful, though I dislike that Nevada still allows smoking inside at casinos. (Or the smoke has so permeated everything that it will never get out.)The staff was helpful and efficient at getting our event going and were great hosts .

The rooms are surprisingly nice. Mattresses are memory foam, pillows are not too stiff, all glass-fronted shower. Casino slot machines seemed overly tight. Table games where a lot of fun. Friendly staff. Breezeways connect the el dorado casino and circus circus. Lots of fun. All day and night parking. The $56/night rooms are a real deal!! You walk out feeling like a winner no matter what happens

Very disappointing we asked for a non-smoking room, and our room smells like someone is smoking 20 cigarettes! My 11 yr old even had a nosebleed. Our noses hurt from the cigarette smell and dry noses. We will not stay at this hotel anymore, we came here 2 yrs ago and rooms were nicer and we could breath. Horrible! Our clothes stinks like cigarettes too! We can't wait to leave this hotel tomorrow ASAP to get some fresh air.Slot machines are very expensive, I finally found one if my favorite texas tea slot machine played $100 and no one never came around to offer a drink, we looked around and couldn't find a waitress. It was a group of 19 family members that came and left $$$. I don't recommend this hotel or casino. Rooms are not the cleanest and my pillow case had a hole too. Box of tissue was pretty much empty too.

Silver Star Legacy Casino offers a decent gaming experience with a variety of options for entertainment. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is generally friendly. However, the dining choices could be improved, and the overall cleanliness of the facility needs more attention. While it's worth a visit, there's room for enhancement to truly shine among its competitors

This is the LAST RENO AIR RACE. Better get here before it's too late. It's an amazing experience with some of the best people in the world.We love this show and we're going to miss it!

It was my first time but we'll worth it! We stayed all day and not one minute was boring. They had so many air shows going on throughout the day. If you haven't been I highly recommend it. And if you ha e gone before you know you will go again!

We love the Reno Air Races. I would recommend getting the pit passes if possible. You're right next to the action and there's a real sense of community in this sport, that's great to see. We even got to visit with one of the pilots that had just raced. (The red plane in the photos).Overall they put on a great show. There are races, aerial shows and lots of displays to look at. We're very excited about the STOL races being added to the lineup. This year the U2 came by. Amazing! It is so good we are spending more than one day there. My son and dad love planes, this is their thing every year!

First time going and had an absolute blast. Looking forward to next year. Little smokey but still a great event ! If you are an aviation enthusiast definitely need to come here.

An incredible experience for the whole family. I highly recommend this event as part of every yearly destination on everyone's agenda. Stimulating for the kids as well as adults and getting a pit pass is highly recommended to engage up close with planes, pilots and the whole aviation community that takes part of the world's fastest motorsport.

Year over Year. It has become a family tradition. We enjoy ourselves so much at the Air Races; it is a whole day of walking, eating, watching the Races, and getting autographs from the Pilots. Big Shout Out to Section 3!!!!

The best event/air show you will ever go to! Take my word for it, I’ve been to the races every year of my life (16 years straight) and have never missed it once, and hopefully never will. This is truly an event like no other, I promise you that! Great for the whole family, aviation enthusiast or not! The Reno National Championship Air Races held annually for the past 59 years have been for aviation enthusiasts and aviation historians, a Mecca to which to congregate and enjoy the the company of like minded people and watch the Fastest Motor Sport on earth! I understand that good things can’t always last forever, but I had hoped the races could hold off the developers. I am going to miss the “pilgrimage” to Reno-Stead every September. I look forward to perhaps a new venue, and send my thanks and best wishes to everyone at the Reno Air Race Association; volunteers, vendors, race teams and all!!

Beautiful Stadium -Smaller Version of Coors Field in Denver…Great Experience…More Delicious Food Options Than One Can Enjoy in One Game..Extremely Family Friendly…If in Reno During Summer Do Not Miss a Reno Aces Game!!!!!!!

We Love to go to the Aces games!!! Is always so much fun and a family favorite. If people is visiting us from out of state we try to book a game to take them there. Love the Fireworks(Our favorite).

Beautiful Baseball Field, easy to get to, easy parking for me (2nd Street Lot, Prepaid), super short walk and went right in, just a few minutes. All the people I interacted with were great, club does really nice job of providing entertainment during the game, and players and personnel on field were very cool, consistently lobbing balls to Fans, especially kids, that is really great. Main Concourse was really nice, plenty of TV Screens to keep up if you were in a Concession line, nice areas to stand at, and eat or drink out of the Sun.Oh, and what a crazy fun game to watch that I happened to catch, like R U Kidding:16-15 OKC Dodgers, 32 Hits, 10 Homers, 11 InningsCenter fielder for OKC made 2 amazing plays in last 2 Innings. Made diving, sliding catch on smoked liner that would have won game for Reno, then robbed a HR or for sure Extra Base hit in 11th, at the Yellow Line on top of the Fence or even above.Player of the Game.Bad day for pitchers, but Dodgers brought in a guy in the Bottom of 11th, who only threw 77, but also lobbed some pitches, he only gave up 1 run thanks to the catch by the Center Fielder.

When we visit from Sacramento, we always try to take in a Reno Aces game; easily walkable from the main core of Virginia Street resorts (the neighborhood around it can feel a little dodgy, but not so much so that I think it deserves to lose a star).Reasonably priced tickets and ballpark grub, friendly staff, and the park is also really walkable, with scenic stretches on the Truckee River. Be prepared if you go to a game in April: early spring days in the Sierra Nevadas can be COLD! The game we attended was 36° at first pitch, with windchill bringing it down to the low 20s by the end.Thirsty Thursdays are a great deal with $2 Coors lights in the outfield bar.

Such a fun experience for the entire family. What can go wrong with hotdogs, pretzels, beer and baseball at a really lovely stadium?

Beautiful ball field! Great seats are pretty inexpensive. Food wasn't as expensive as other stadiums. Very clean. Fan interaction is a little lacking but otherwise great experience.

I took my kids there during visit Reno. It was the first baseball for my kids, they got excited! The whole experience was wonderful! Nice people, great game and delicious food!

Love coming here to watch the Aces play. Sometimes they seem pretty short staffed on security so it can take a while to get in. There is a lot of good food and drink options and the bathrooms are always well kept.

First time in my whole life watching this event a Baseball game in a Big Arena like this. So much fun..and I really love it.

Went to Fan Fest on March 9th and had an excellent time. Played catch out on the field with my son Wesley, had great food and played games. Wesley got interviewed by channel 4 news, met mascots Archie and Truckee, and became best friends with Nash Walker, who was extremely nice and professional. Can't wait to return, thank you Reno Aces and staff.

Amazing renovations of the suites, new Chef with great food, updated Kids Corner in right field, New Baseball Art, etc. Can't wait for ACE-BALL Season at the, GREATER NEVADA CREDIT UNION FIELD!!🙌🏽🙌🏽

A great little ballpark. Big enough to accommodate the attendees but intimate enough that it feels like a family outing. The digital displays are sharp and easy to read from anywhere in the stadium. The field lights are bright and disperse the light well throughout the stadium. Lastly, the staff works very efficiently, from the concession stands, ushers, and field workers. The whole team works well and provides visitors with a fantastic experience.

Beautiful field with views from just about everywhere to see the game. The grass berm was fun to sit and watch for a few innings. Pretty full for the game as well adding to the atmosphere.

Wonderful entertainment and great staff. Non-stop action. Concessions were many and food was great (photos). Security was tight, where isn't it today? But staff was pleasant. The field was beautiful, the action and the crowd were electrified. A home run hitter rounds third scoring 2 runs. The ball went over the centerfield fence and onto the railroad tracks behind the stadium! A freak hail storm ended the game early but the fans didn't want to leave.

We watched high school baseball and what an amazing thing for these young men to be able to do. Aces stadium allows these guys to play a game and wow was it exciting. So impressed. Thank you.

This is a top quality venue for The Reno Philharmonic! The building is kept in quality shape and there are plenty of bar and associated services for the audience. What a beautiful building design.

It's a great venue! We watched the grinch for our first visit to this venue. I'm already looking for tickets to upcoming shows. Clean comfortable and friendly staff.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Sat in the front row of the balcony so had an excellent view of the show. I'm short and if I get stuck behind anyone then I can't see what's happening on the stage. The balcony gives you a wonderful view and the acoustics are great.

This place shows how important the arts are for the Reno area! It's a nice facility with comfortable seats. The acoustics were great! We were there for the high school music All-State performances and everyone loved it!

I've been to the Pioneer for 6 or 7 broadway shows now and it never disappoints. I've never had a bad experience, the staff is friendly and very helpful. My daughter recently attended a Broadway musical workshop and absolutely loved it. I'm thrilled the Pioneer had an event for aspiring performers, hoping to see more of these opportunities in the future.

We just finished our second season as Broadway Comes to Reno season pass holders and it was fabulous. My husband and I love having a Date Night downtown with dinner and a show. The shows are first-rate entertainment. The facility is easy to access with free parking across the street and our seats are comfy with an unobstructed view of the stage. Season tickets are reasonably priced and make an excellent anniversary gift for you both to enjoy all year long.

I have been coming to the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts since I was a kid. I have never had a bad experience. All of the staff is always so nice and friendly. They help you find where you are supposed to go and the ushers are very attentive. The shows that they put on are always amazing. I have seen multiple ballets and plays on the stage, and I keep coming back for more. It really is one of the greatest treasures in Reno.

Been frequenting this theater for years and what a gem. Access to multi levels, exquisite seating and sound. Let's talk about the level of blow away shows and entertainment. This is truly a Northern Nevada gem. The cast of Hamilton was straight off Broadway and spot on. Want a truly special night? Go book some tickets and enjoy a national theatrical experience. World class venue and entertainment!!!

Recently been in event at Pioneer center I was mesmerized with the great coordination team of the center done and the smoothness of the event. Great job will definitely go back for future events.

While I immensely enjoy attending musicals at the Pioneer Center, the property is dated and the restrooms need to be enlarged and remodeled. The property is aged and. Would actually use a remodeling from top to bottom.

This is my first time attending this venue in a very long time! I attended the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis concert last night. Parking was easy and free, The service from the ushers was excellent! Very friendly staff! I was seated on the the floor section A. There was a slight obstruction, but I could still see all the action on stage. Concert was superb! The only complaint I have is that the A/C REALLY works! 🤣BRRR!

Great experience for shows. It is smaller which means you get in and out quickly, concessions are an easy process, there are no real bad seats, and the cost is very reasonable.

I was out exploring Reno's Downtown area. I found myself in front of the Pioneer Theater. It was 34 years ago, a beautiful woman took me to a concert here, to see a band I wasn't familiar with. The Rippingtons! I had to sit down a few minutes and let the memories flood my mind. I haven't been back inside the theater since, but look forward to the upcoming productions. I'm a huge fan of the Rippingtons ever since. I think of the beautiful lady who introduced me to them and the Pioneer Theater, which reminds me of her wonderful spirit and smile, and I wonder what could have been.

Lovely theater for performing 🎭 arts - definitely will attend more functions at this location.Wow! Reno Philharmonic and Philharmonic Choir! Ballerinas and Tapdancing and everything!! Just fabulous 😍

The Peppermill, Where to start.Positives: Plenty of things to do, Casino variety, excellent parking and access.Lots of shops and activities. It looks really nice and fancy but looks can be deceiving.Negative: This is mostly tailored to my experience. My girlfriend got us a couples suite. I believe it was the wedding suite(Not married just staying as a couple). When we got here it was around 1pm and check-in isn't until 3pm. We asked for early check-in and they told us no problem it will be just a bit. So we decided to go explore. 3pm rolls around and they told us they needed to go check if it was ready. It was not and they needed to clean it. 5pm rolls around...nothing, 6pm rolls around... still waiting. 8pm I went up and another service agent was at the table and they told us the room wasn't ready. Explained how long we have waited and they managed to get us a room. it was the room we were hoping for but my oh my was it horrible. the room had moths in it. The crows where cawing all freaking night long. They obviously put us in whatever couples room they had open cause the view out the window was just a wall. it was quite upsetting and it ruined our little couples trip. The resort overall is really expensive and to be honest not that impressive compared to other places you can stay at in town. When I made my complaint the next day they did drop the service fee and we decided to leave a day early and stay somewhere else.

The Peppermill is one of the top tier casinos and hotels in Reno. Their rooms are top-notch, especially the themed rooms. Their casino is expansive and very accommodating to various players. Whether you like table games or slots, they have you covered. Jackpots hit here at a good rate. Their slot tournaments are very rewarding. Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing resort. Oh, and the food options are amazing as well. The location is so-so as it is surrounded by low income housing, allowing for a lot of vagrants and beggers.

I got a suite there for 40 bucks because I had enough points from a casino game I play on my phone. I redeemed my points and only had to pay a resort fee. The suite was huge with a jet bathtub, fit two people easy. The shower had two heads, king size bed, and a bunch of coupons they gave me for other stuff. It's a beautiful casino, very clean, worker's are all polite. Check in and out was easy. Two thumbs up!

Love this place. Some of the best restaurants in Reno, and definitely one of the most lavish settings I’ve encountered. I don’t gamble, but I’ve met up with friends quite a few times and even gone solo a couple times for the hotel, food, and/or live music, and occasionally hit the shops while I’m there. I’ve heard from reliable sources that this is the nicest spa in Reno, and I can’t wait to check it out.

One of my most favorite hotels in Reno… well, just in general. I love the Tuscany side. You have to book a room on the Tuscany side as they have so much more to offer. I travel with my family a lot so having 2 King beds in a room is ideal. Other hotels offer two queens or full beds which can be entirely too small for two people.The room offers a sitting area, closet, a massive bathroom with double sinks, a separate toilet, double head shower and a large jacuzzi tub. They have smoking and nonsmoking floors and if you don’t smoke- don’t get stuck on a smoking floor. It stinks. However, they do have air purifiers in the smoking rooms which helps out a lot.Bimini is located in the hotel and is a must visit restaurant. Always love my experience and food there.It’s a very lovely hotel and we are always lucky to find close parking. I love that there’s an arcade there for the kiddos to stay entertained, and not to forget the pools which are just lovely (and so beautiful to look at).Highly recommend!

Central Casino close to airport and Riverwalk by car.Clean rooms and casino. Great poker room! Lots of great restaurants. Tuscany Tower is more luxurious side to stay.The Spa is absolutely amazing with 3 private floors. Hot tub, steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool.Top floor has a pool with 2 small hot tubs, a veranda over looking the main pool. Massages are on the second floor and my 50 minute Swedish massage by Ginger was excellent.

The peppermill casino is wonderful..they have slot machines and poker tables but they have much more...they have a game arcade with retro games ..I do not gamble so that was really important to me....they have swim pools. A really big one a hot tub and a special pool with a kind of waterfall...they have a state of the art fitness center...I really enjoyed the fitness center with a sauna and treadmill, and very special machines and free weights. The service was phenomenal and I want to express how well they take care of you. Very good!!!! They have a variety of restaurants all good prices, and delicious.....visit this casino you won't be sorry.

The views are nice from our room. Nice pool and multiple gyms, restaurants and lounges. Comfy beds and pillows. We didn’t know at first but you can request a microwave, so we did. It was there within 10 minutes…anytime we requested anything it was always brought to us right away. Excellent customer service. The only downside was the temperature in the rooms. When we arrived it was 72 degrees in the room. It was dry and hot in our room while it was chilly and snow on the hills outside. We turned the fan on high and the temperature down. We could hardly feel any circulation. It took at least 10 hours for the temperature to decrease to 67. When we turned the fan off the temperature rapidly increased to 73. We kept the fan on the lowest temperature possible for the next 4 days, 24/7. No fresh air gives me anxiety. Other than that everything was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone, especially the rooms with a balcony that are visible in the picture above.

The food is excellent. The staff, all of them, are awesome. The casino is very well laid out and is always clean. The comps are good, I have never paid for a room. I live in Reno but always take advantage of the coupon saying I have earned two free nights!

My husband and I just stayed here last week and we come here every year now for our anniversary because we love this hotel and it’s casino but this last trip we noticed their resort fees went all the way up to $45.20 a night which is fine except our bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and all the glass cups were disgustingly dirty so we couldn’t use them at all. Our vent system had mold coming out from the ceiling and this was the first time I had a room with these issues. Our door looked like it had been kicked in and glued back together and the mini fridge did not work. The room was not great but we will still be back. Just really disappointed in the condition of the room.

I absolutely love staying here! The Tuscany tower rooms are so great for large family’s who are on vacation. You can get rooms next to each other that also have a door to shut to both of the rooms. The beds are so comfortable. The room is clean and has such awesome art. Huge bathrooms with a huge jacuzzi tub. They each have their own balcony over looking the pools.

This was my first time signing up for Peppermill rewards. They made it easy. They verified my login information for the program and told me what to expect. So much more thorough than the "other" big casino program! Lastly, I love the high ceiling area. There is much less smoke smell... great job Peppermill 👏🏼

I booked a classic room and am looking forward to my next trip for a modern room just for trying. The staff checking me in was super nice, I love the room that I booked and it was a great experience. So far it was the best experience I had so far kicking Aria, Vegas from my top to second.

We ate at chi restaurant for my birthday. The food was great and so was our waitress. I even got a huge piece of coconut cake with a candle on it. Also, I'm allergic to garlic and black pepper, and my daughter has to be gluten-free. They made all the dishes free of the allergens. They also have gluten-free appetizers.

We can't say enough good things about the Peppermill staff ❤️ they go above and beyond and are so detail oriented. Truly blown away. One of the best customer experiences I've had post covid. Can't wait to come back!! The amenities are gorgeous and the mountain view from our room was stunning!

Was only there for a board meeting I don't Gamble. Casino was quite large. Food was good. We had a small meeting room and there's a $30 up charge for the HDMI cable to drive the big screen in the meeting room. We used small meeting room just off one of the restaurants.

This is my favorite casino in Reno and Northern California. The drink service is A LOT faster than any other casino I’ve been to in Reno. Tip good and you will be taken care of. Love the huge selection of machines. They have old school double top dollar which is always fun to play. Great place to have fun

Excellent resort. The SPA was better than every other resort spa I've experienced. Food was very good at CHI, and Cafe Milan. Solid table game action every time I was on the floor. Sports book was well appointed. Best whiskey bar by far...see allocated menu (2/22)

They have excellent restaurants! The eggs were cooked to perfection. I find that hard to come by. The staff in the casino were very supportive and friendly. I found them to be very charming and interesting. I would like to come again in the summer and possibly stay for the weekend to test out their hotel. Overall I think if you know how to have a fun time at the casino. This casino will be a blast.

Stayed in the Tuscan tower. The room was way beyond expectations. The room was immaculately clean and exquisitely furnished. The bathroom looked more like a studio apartment with the exception of the marble covering the bathroom, with walk in shower with 2 heads, his and her sinks with marble countertops and a vanity that spanned from wall to wall, jacuzzi bathtub that easily fit 2 adults and 2 small dogs. They even had room to fit a toilet in a small side room off of the main bathroom. The view overlooked the pool and spa area. Everything was very nicely done. Guest services are super friendly. My girlfriend had a job interview at 3 and they gave us a late checkout at 1 pm without hesitation. Was a very comfortable stay, the kind that you wish you didn't have to leave. I encourage others to find out firsthand. You won't be disappointed.

Had a great experience, the room was very clean and felt extremely comfortable. Lots of things to do, shopping, swimming, slots or even video games, they have a small cafe inside as well as restaurants to eat. 10/10. Will be coming back to see what else the resort has to offer

This casino/hotel has been around for years and looks very well maintained. What I found different in this beautiful casino is that there is a presence of helpful employees circulating in the gaming area. Have to also mention the CHAIRS, so comfortable & different from other casinos (ha, makes you want to stay & play). Also have mobility carts available for hotel guests and a parking garage. Hope to stay here next visit.

Beautiful property, elegant rooms. Food is very good but expensive, although it seems in.line with other nearby places. Great conference facility. Only downside-it took me 35 minutes to check in at 1 am, only one person at the desk until I was next. Then that person was having issues checking me in.

Great place in Reno to have a getaway. Sports book is great and bars are all over so something new to try every night! The spa was amazing! Plenty of Coed spots to hangout with your significant other or the men’s only has great spots to sit in the jacuzzi and watch a ball game, sorry ladies.

Pros: A fantastic place to host a conference, eat a wide selection of amazing food, get a lovely selection of spa treatments, and gamble (if that's your thing).Cons: It's a massive maze of a place, almost no outside green space, and it smells like cigarettes 😝 in many main areas.Note: I'm not a gambling person, so the whole casino vibe is as alien to me as another (tobacco infused and flashy) planet.I will say that the resort does a great job of air filtration because the cigarette smoke is not a serious issue.My king room was well appointed and luxurious. The lights are BRIGHT on the side of the building so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light at night.If you're an outdoors fan like me, there's plenty to see and do a short drive away. Lake Tahoe is ~ 30 minutes.Overall impression: opulent and extravagant... it's a casino after all.Service is top notch and the staff go out of their way to make you happy.

(It's hard to judge a hotel because it really depends on what type of hotels you are comparing it with. In this case I am comparing the Peppermill Casino to other casinos in the area). With that in mind, I would say that the Peppermill resort spa Casino is one of the best hotels in Reno, NV. They really put work and attention into training their employees to make the guests feel welcome. The spa is very good: it is distributed in 3 levels: one has a pool with a few hot tubs and the salon spaces, another level is what the treatment (massage, facials, etc) rooms are and another level with the fitting rooms, sauna, down room, hot tub, etc.

First time in RENO in decades. Centrally located. Gambling was downstairs. Pool was refreshing. Didn't get to the fitness center, next time. Live band was good. Overall, would stay here again.

Five stars, five stars, five stars. I've stayed here four times, and it's just a fun hotel. It checks all the boxes for all different kinds of trips. Even after 4 trips I'm still exploring the hotel. It's has a lot to offer. The food, the customer service, the rooms, the gym, they're all awesome.

Not a bad stay, my room was actually quite nice, see the attached photos. This place is truly massive over 1600 rooms, my primary complaint is that we still allow smoking indoors. How is this still a thing. It pained me to wander through the casino. I did have a go in the High Roller room, not all that impressive.

Meh - the room was pretty standard. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Room service was prompt and decent. Check-in took a little bit - the kiosks weren't working. I opted to use the in-room checkout but didn't get the folio/invoice. I called less than two weeks later waited on hold for 15 minutes to be told that since it had been 'SO LONG' since my stay, I had to call back when their accounting department is available. I won't be recommending this for any of my colleagues traveling to our Reno location.

We stopped by to check out the casino and hotel overall and had lunch at the deli in the casino. Good food and fast service. The hotel is VERY nice, much better than the Silver Legacy. The casino area is massive and clean, has plenty of staff, feels safe, and has tons of light and massive screens with the most amazing landscapes circulating. Large pool area. This hotel feels like a Vegas hotel, not a throwback Reno hotel. The casino did get smoky as the day went along. Many restaurants and shopping within the casino. If we visit Reno again, we will definitely stay here vs The Row.

Always a great place to stay. I’d say the best casino hotel in Reno. Beautiful rooms. The wife gambles, I don’t. But I enjoy the beautiful casino screens with beautiful videos from all over the world. Cafe is great but when are you bringing the buffet back?

My family and I stay here often. The variety of casino restaurants is great. The pool and arcade are our favorites for family fun. The spa also provides several services and is a must do.

Good environment and good energy if you want a crowd that believes they're going to win. Hit a jackpot first thirty minutes of arriving so really didn't get to explore the whole place but overall it was the best casino so far I've been to in Reno. Not just because of the win but it was cleaner and had a more of a winner's vibe than the rest.

I'm a little biased here. This is my goto casino resort. Great dealers, restaurants. Try the back bar for snacks and drinks the main bartender is awesome. Beautiful property. Great spa - get a treatment and you get an all day pass to the spa. Indoor pool and food service. Great way to relax. I stand by the 5 stars, however since covid the valet parking, the night club and the buffet have been closed. I would like to see those come back.

Ived stayed here a few times for work trips and always have a wonderful experience. The service here is top notch! We ended up having a delayed flight and didn't arrive to the airport until around 3AM. We were having trouble getting a cab to pick us up but the hotel happened to send the shuttle to get us (which was well past it's operating hours). Greatly appreciated the staff member who was able to assist us! Always my #1 choice of where to stay for business!

Wow!!! This hotel really is sweeter than the Gelato it serves. I loved the different boutiques. The service was 5 stars as everyone was nice, conversed with our group, and made sure everything was perfect. The hotel was clean and had amazing air purification systems because it wasn't too smokey. The games were good and the waitresses were amazing. Next time, we are booking here

What a great place to stay. Hotel shuttle to and from the hotel to the airport no stress at all. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Shower was awesome. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. No complaints. Food at the new place Chickie's and Pete's were great as well. I definitely would stay here again if ever I returned to Reno.

Great place to take the kid. Driving range was cool, bowling has really nice lanes. Clean and well kept. The 4 stars is due to the elevators not working properly. We sometimes had to wait 20 minutes to get an elevator. That would need to change before next visit.Otherwise, pretty good place to go. Lots of food choices.

Beautiful well maintained property with everything you could need. We've stayed here for HAN for 2 summers and really enjoyed the resort. Unfortunately it rained on us last year and the pool closed most the time, however the day it was open we really enjoyed the food and drink options!Clean, large rooms, lots of entertainment for the whole family (kids loved the arcade!) and great restaurants to choose from! Overall it's a fantastic resort for your family vacation.

This place has so much to do other than gambling like the driving range. Awesome drinks and the rooms are so nice beds are comfortable and pillows are huge. The elevator buttons were not ideal everyone was a little confused by them but not bad. Shower had a huge rainfall feature. Pool and hot tubs were very nice.

First time here! Great location right off the freeway. Sadly forgot to take pictures of the room but it was nice. The bed (king) was ultra comfy and the linens were like clouds. The bathroom was all stone, tile, and granite with a large accessible shower. Surprisingly the casino area IS NOT a labyrinth designed to trap you in, but instead is centralized in the middle surrounded by restaurants and bars. The theater is one of the nicer ones I've seen and it stayed comfortably cool during a heavy metal concert with pyrotechnics.

Terrible experience and won’t be coming back. We have stayed at this location every year for about 7 years. Although I feel like the cleanliness and quality of the rooms has steadilyDeclined we wanted to give it one more go for our kids.We had quite a serious situation, where a dresser fell on my child. Although he was not hurt, Scott in customer service did nothing. He didn’t even ask if my child was okay.They placed us in another room where the lock wouldn’t engage, hadn’t been properly cleaned and was missing the toilet paper holder was not there, and the missing piece was just left in the bathroom. So we waited for another room. We filled out necessary incident reports,Reported it to the teams and heard nothing back. Clearly they don’t care about the safety of their residents. They don’t want to deal with hard stations. They asked me to reach out which I did, and they ignored all messages.

Personally, this is my favorite place to stay for an adult weekend in Reno. They comp nights better than other places in Reno and have pretty good rewards. Also, they have the better buffet in town and on Thursdays it's easy enough to earn free buffet tickets with gambling some.The rooms are very nice. The water pressure sucks for the showers, the ambience is a bit blah compared to other casinos in Reno, and the elevators take time to get to your room. But, it also has a less crowded feel even in weekends and is easier to get around. I would recommend them for an adults weekend anytime.

We always have a good time at this hotel. It is a very nice hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. We usually get free rooms. Since my boyfriend and his family love gambling. The restaurants are pretty good. They have a good variety of places to eat at. Plus you can take your own drink while playing in the casino area. I recommend this place when visiting Reno.

Love the place. My wife and I have been going since 2014 it is great, we now have a baby and it is still super fun to go to the big arcade and the bowling alley. When she gets older we can bring our kid to movies and concerts there. The restaurants are good and some deliver to the room now! The prices are pretty good and the food quality was really good and food came to the room quick.

Pros: Our room in the Vista tower was quite large and the bed was fairly comfortable. The floor was remarkably quiet - I was never aware of any of our neighbors. Cabana service at the pool was excellent (as would be expected for the price). Multiple options for family-friendly entertainment. The casino was kind to me during our stay - always a plus!Cons: Believe the hype about the elevators. If you are on floors 18 or higher, you will wait in long lines. You will press the button frantically thinking the elevator "forgot" you. You may do this for 20 or more minutes. When the elevator finally arrives, everyone crams themselves inside the cab in desperation and it feels uncomfortable and unsafe. That alone has me questioning my intent to return. Honestly, it felt like we were visiting in the off-season as opposed to the week before July 4th. My kids were overall pleased, but many family attractions were unopened or understaffed. Many arcade games were not functioning and looked to be in disrepair. Restaurants closed earlier than their posted hours or in some cases, didn't open at all.

I love staying at GSR. Very family friendly. Rooms are updated and nice. Service is great, while checking in there was a very long line. To my amazement they had a server walking around the line offering cold water and very cold champagne.Buffet is delicious! I love going to the buffet when I stay. Plenty of selection there is something there for sure that will be your favorite!Casino floor is pretty big and is modernized. Though I don't gamble a lot, it is fun to hit the bar up and walk around the machines playing a couple bucks for some spins.I would definitely recommend this place vs. the older downtown spots. Won't name names but definitely felt very dated when we did walk around at the 3. (If you know you know).A solid 4.6 stars in my book. That buffet tho!

We stayed four nights, Tue-Fri. GREAT experience! Definitely busier on the weekends. Food and drinks at Rim were great. Staff very kind and welcoming. We had two reservations because a training I was in town for, covered first two nights. I asked if we could be in the same room the whole time and they accommodated plus upgraded us to a suite! Only downside is that we had cold showers first two days. But, I let the staff know and it was fixed within 45 minutes. We will DEFINITELY be staying here on our next visit to Reno! Highly recommend!

I went to visit , I didn't stay in the rooms. The food at the restaurant was the best since I been in Reno. The people were friendly, the hotel huge but secluded. You have to pay for everything after you pay to stay here. I like the luxury feel and cleanliness but I didn't like the fact that you get price gouged in everything. It's it's own little resort but a little boring one.

I’m happy that Reno finally has a resort destination hotel. I love the options for bowling 🎳 and golf ⛳️. The shops downstairs are starting to fill up and that’s great when you just have to run downstairs to purchase clothing. The casino is awesome 👏🏼 The reception team is great. We ate at the steak house, phenomenal dinner and great service!

Easy shuttle access to the hotel from the airport. Registration was quick, friendly and efficient. It can get crowded at check- in. Would love to see them start checking you in with text notifications. You can check in with QR code. Maybe try that next time. My Sierra Tower Room was very spacious and nicely appointed. The mountain view was incredible. The co*cktail waitress Jenny was fantastic. Lots of slot choices and meal choices. Loved my stay. Top choice for Reno area.

Good place for a quick vacation with the family. Lots of things to do. Make sure to bring your golf clubs if you want to hit the driving range! Bowling is a hit with the kids, they loved the arcade too and the escape room. The steak house there was fantastic too. We’ll look to go back soon with friends.

Good:-There’s a fantastic Starbucks!-the restaurants had great food!-the front desk staff are absolutely fantastic and were so nice from the start!-the cleaning staff are so kind!Areas for Improvement:-The room cleanliness. I recognize that there is a shortage of staff, however, maybe providing better guidelines for what they should be cleaning might support them better! I have provided pictures of the things I found (unknown stain on bed, splatters of random substances on walls and bathrooms)-Awkward shower set-up. The shower handle is behind the door that only opens on one side. This one was a first for me! Picture provided-The heavy greeting of smoke upon entering the building from all sides. I can say I definitely got second hand smoke as I was coughing quite a bit during my week long stay. Providing air purification in the entry may help alleviate guests being SMACKED with smoke. I recognize this is a casino, however, being marked as a casino and resort, when I see resort I think “luxury” and the constant smell of smoke doesn’t create that sense, for me at least

This place is a very cool attraction. My experience there started at the driving range hitting golf balls. The driving range is a large pond with little island that have the holes on them. After that, my friends and I went to their in house bowling alley and played a few fun games while having beers and even a frozen alcoholic beverage at the end. Lastly we made our way to the casino area and had a little fun betting a small amount of money. You can have so much fun in this single establishment before even venturing into town!

I have stayed a lot of different hotels/casinos in Reno and this hotel is one of my favorites. Great customer service! I lost some money but I didn't feel bad about it because the service was great. The room was modern and the shower was amazing. Way better then I expected. Would definitely stay again. I would recommend the Friday night buffet, pricey but really good! The prime rib stuffed with lobster was my favorite!

Great time. Thought it was going to be much busier w/ St Patrick's Day weekend. But overall, I had an amazing time. If you get a chance to go to the nightclub inside the casino, Go, you won't be disappointed. Especially if you pay for bottle service.My friends and I really enjoyed the Krystal lounge. Usually ended up meeting there any time we split ways amongst the casino.As my first time there, I really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again.

GSR is a good place to go if you want to get some gambling in and have the kids with you. Pool is great, kids pool separate from adult pool. Rooms are okay, starting to show there age. All restaurants at hotel lack good service. At best below average. Food is good but horrible service. The casino does not smell like smoke so good if you are sensitive to that smell.

Came here to play the Roll & win craps game and had a good time. I was a little worried that the smoke was going to be bad and actually it was not bad at all. I did come during the day and during the week but overall was still a great experience. I wish that the game had the bonus on it but was still fun. I ate at the cafe and the food was pretty awesome, service could be better but overall a great experience

I've never stayed in a room since I'm local. However, my family has visited and said they were very comfortable and relaxing. Also very well furnished for a short term stay. They have so much more than a full service gambling area. From cheap to lavish restaurants that suit all tastes, fun activities for groups and families to enjoy, and even a good nightlife for those looking to get out. I'd recommend the GSR for just about anyone

We recently took a small quick birthday trip to Reno and stayed here it was amazing. Check in was quick and easy afterwards we went to the Starbucks inside and one of the managers offered to buy our groups Starbucks as a welcome gift. Staff was super friendly and helpful. All of the slots worked and the drink server we had was super sweet. Velvet was good, bell hop good the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. It really was good trip all around. We definitely will come back and stay longer

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno! This hotel is not only grand in size but also in its overall experience. The casino was decent, providing plenty of entertainment options, and the theatre was truly impressive.One of the standout moments of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Jaime at the front desk. Jaime was not only nice and friendly but also incredibly helpful. Thanks to Jaime's assistance, I was given a fantastic room, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay.I highly recommend the Grand Sierra Resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Reno. It's a fantastic destination with excellent amenities and fantastic staff like Jaime to make your visit memorable.

This place is always so much fun! Fun for all. HUGE resort. Bowling alley is so awesome! I took my dad for his birthday and they gave him a free bowl. The customer service is outstanding! I stay here often for work related trips to save on commutes. The rooms are exceptional and the beds are comfy. The slots I’m 30/70. I can’t seem to understand the winnings here. Awesome place to go see a movie, a live show, rent a cabana for a birthday and they are expanding! I can’t wait!

My first time here and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were, a lot of amenities in the hotel itself. We went to comedy show and it was right in the hotel so no need to drive. The buffet was also good just be prepared to wait in line for a while. Reno is a bit far from the ski resorts which is why we were going there in the first place but overall great place to stay.

Rooms are nice, look clean, but the hotel policy seems to be not to hold the room type one reserves, even for prepaid rooms. This feels suboptimal. Regardless, when this happened, the registration staff implied I should be happy to get room at all (again, I prepaid). This attitude bugged me more, so I'd recommend different places to stay - there's nothing special about this one.

The room was clean. Mattress and pillows were firm. There's a lot to do for the whole family. We gambled, played Bingo, & bowled. We only dined at the Sports Bar. The food was very good and served in large, sharable portions. The resort was also in a convenient location. We would stay here again.

Close to the airport and close to the office so the location is pretty darn good. The rooms had just been updated and we were upgraded as well. Very happy with the room, but some of the service at the restaurant and while at the slots was a little slow. It wasn't even that packed, but it seemed like we spent a lot of time waiting. I hate to say it, but they would have gotten more of our money if they had been a little more on time with stuff.The one downer for us was the fact that the entire hotel room floor smelled like marijuana. I don't care what you do in your personal time, but the fact that the entire hotel floor smelled like it was a little off-putting.We had some great views from our room and didn't even realize there was an ice skating rink until we saw it. I would definitely come back, but probably not gamble as much since part of that. Fun is getting drinks while you gamble. To wait for 15 minutes or more for a drink. Seemed a little excessive.

Great place to stay. Nice rooms. Plenty of things to do in the building, no need to leave for food or entertainment. Love staying here. When you ask for non smoking room, you get a room that DOESN'T smell like an ashtray.

Always a great place to stay Nice newly remodeled rooms. The Casino is always updated and changed every trip. Had a great time there for my birthday and a nice jackpot to boot, making the trip even better.

This location is great for the entire Family. During winter they have an ice skating rink. They have bowling, movie theater, small arcade, outdoor golf driving range, kids jungle gym, pizza, burgers, and lots of other places to eat. Staff was very friendly. Some room still not updated. Indoor Starbucks you can use your mobile app to oder ahead on.

I like this hotel because it is somewhat out of the way of downtown Reno. I hate most casinos due to the smell of cigarettes, but the GSR does a good job of minimizing the smell. It was barely noticeable. I didn't play, but I did walk the casino floor, and it was clean with lots of table games and slots to play. The staff was friendly, and the drink girls were easy to find. We ate the restaurant inside the casino Chickies and Pete's, it was good, not great. The service was good, and the prices are what you would expect inside a casino. We got coffee at the Starbucks and pastries at the little shop next store to the Starbucks, which were delicious. I recommend the Danish. The room was clean and prepared for us. There were some stains on a couple of pieces of furniture, but nothing that would make you want another room or gross you out. It just looked like spilled drinks. The bed was comfortable, and the TV worked just fine. We were woken up at about 3am by our neighbors who were talking pretty loud, but that is what happens in Hotel/Casinos, so we can't complain too much. I used their gym, which was well equipped and clean. Can't ask for much more. We had a great stay at GSR and will definitely go back.

The good: Walking in was grand & gorgeous. The casino was super cool. I loved how much there was to do for the kids. The shower was luxurious & I never wanted to get out. The gym was gorgeous. Our view from the 15th floor was pretty cool & overall it was a good experience. When I lost my wallet it was very quickly found & I am super grateful for that.The not so good: I wouldn’t say the worst service, but definitely not good service. Whether it was the front desk, Jamba Juice, or the Starbucks, it felt like every worker didn’t want to be there, didn’t want to serve you & would continue their casual conversations with other workers even when you were standing there waiting. Brandon at security had a real bad attitude & at what point said “whatever” when we were talking about something. As a Canadian who has worked in customer service for 10 years, it was disappointing to be talked to the way he did.

We just stayed here at the GSR hotel last weekend and it was the best time. They have many things to keep you busy at the hotel itself, Escape Rooms, VR games, golf, bowling, and many others. The staff was super helpful and great customer service. Would definitely stay here again.

Mixed emotions. There for a conference for high school students, accommodated all our needs. I did call housekeeping to just have my garbage emptied, for the first full day I was there. Returning to my room they had changed out the towels, and my bed. I don't mind that as long as it's not an extra charge. The same thing happened the following day, without my own personal request. Also, maintenance was happening with painting on the S floor ( in front of the elevators) while the conference was happening. Inconvenient time, especially with many minors walking in and out of the elevators. Would have been nice if the hotel would have planned this. It's before or after our conference. The painters were very polite! Love the view, the hot tub was great.

Came here for the N and the Basque Monument. Let me save you a Google search: the N is for the University of Nevada-Reno, which is nearby. We thought we could get a pretty good picture of the N with the city below - but the pitch of the hill doesn't really let you do that unless you go much further up. My rec: stay below the N because you'll enjoy it more. The Basque Monument is cool - Reno was home to many Basque shepherds and it's a fitting monument for their achievements.

We were traveling through from Vegas to Northern CA and stopped in to find a dog park. Vegas glass some amazing parks for furry friends, but this park beats them all imo! I wish it was closer to our home but we will visit again for sure!It has bathrooms, walking paths, and a HUGE off leash dog area that boasts so many friendly visitors! My 1 yr old Shiba Inu, Wiley, is a handful, and during a 10+ hr car ride, it was about miserable until we stopped here! All 3 dogs ran and played their hearts out, and each had their own fun experience within an hours time. I have never seen such a well run park that hosts dogs and people and animals so elegantly. Other cities should take note of this park and strive to do the same for their communities instead of doing the same old copy-paste requirements for city management.

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is a great park to visit in Reno. There are a few loop trails in the park which are about a mile or so long, I hiked/walked the Arboretum Loop which goes through different landscaped groves with unique landscapes and has a creek, a pond, and views of the entire park from a hill top. I highly recommend visiting the park, it is perfect for family's with kids, or just individuals looking to go for a a nice walk or hike.

Solid dog park with a wonderful off leash area. My guy isn't quite ready for that but enjoys the long up and down path surrounding the park. My toddler age son loves the playground as well. Staff is super friendly and seems to stop and say hello to canine companions when appropriate 👍👍

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is truly a gem in the beautiful city of Reno, Nevada! Your transported to an exceptionality gorgeous green space as you enter the front gates! Many perfect places to park with each an experience of its own! Wait for it!... If visiting in Fall, your senses with be greeted with pure earthly beauty. Your eyes will be positively energized by a vibrant color palette, your nose will be filled with a earthy calming scent and your ears will engage with the hypnotic lull of rustling wind blown leaves! Simply heavenly!

Went for the balloon race. A fantastic event, but as a park for strolling and exploring, there isn't a lot to see. We did not go in the arboretum or visitor center, so many that's more interesting? Nice little playground for kids. Lots of goose poo around.

Dragon lights-worth every penny. I would go again if I lived here! Tip, get the 8-9 time slot. Also, they have a few food trucks. The taco truck was delicious! This was a super cool park and the lights were so pretty!

Our group had a baby shower there, and it was so much fun. We were way at the west end and just after we were done it poured rain. Best time ever. Great facilities! Plenty of save, parking is close!

One of my favorite parks! Growing up here & visiting when I come back in town is one of my highlights! Bonus this year with dragon lights going on. You won’t be disappointed when you come here!!

We had the opportunity to visit Rancho San Rafael regional park on the Great reno balloon race day. The early morning show was spectacular and we would love to visit again. We also visited Wilbur May museum nearby unexpectedly and we get to experience various regional cultures.

A very inclusive, wonderful place to go with hiking trails, walking trails, and a dog park.I highly recommend this location for hiking.

My family and I had the opportunity to experience the Dragon Lights 2023, which was absolutely amazing for everyone to walk through! San Rafael Park has always had the space and proper flow for this event to be placed. It's was so magical for us, and the kids had a great time with all the props displayed. Hoping this event does not change its location as this was a perfect set-up ❤️.

Best dog park I've ever seen. Beautiful large grassy park for the kids to play or feed ducks. Awesome walk thru the gardens and old Great Basin Adventure park, which is now a beautiful hike, especially in the spring when it's all in bloom.

We visited this park today for the 2023 Reno Balloon races !! We had so much fun last year we have invited our whole family this year to come and participate on the beautiful amazing scenery . Thank you for hosting and would love to come back and visit this beautiful park when event is not taking place !

Rancho San Rafael is an amazing place to take a small nature walk, let the dogs free in the dog park, and take the kiddos to play at the park. I am still exploring all Rancho has to offer. Lets not forget the events they host throughout the year such as The Dragon Lights, and The Hot Air Balloon Races just to name a few.

Absolutely love this place can never get a table but I love the fact that the dealers keep their own tips. I think it's the last casino that does that. I did not get a table because it was packed on a Saturday planned to come back and say hello another trip. Definitely clean adjacent to the silver legacy. Don't miss Roxy's restaurant inside lovely fountain area too.

Very clean, beautiful inside, pet friendly. Must I add there's a starbucks on the casino floor. All the staff was super friendly and didn't have a problem answering my questions in depth. A lot of restaurants and bars to go to inside connected with Circus Circus so you can let your teens go to arcade area. The rooms were quiet as well I never heard my neighbor and we had connecting doors. I highly recommend, and will be going back.

My mother and I came here to have dinner. This is the first time we used the El Dorado garage but thought it might be closer to the restaurant since my mother is now using a wheelchair. We could not find the existence of handicap parking but we found it was pretty easy anyway. Once we took the ramp from the parking lot to level 3, everything was there. Very easy and it made for a great night.

This is being sold as a 4 star hotel. But it isNot. Its a very nice 3 star with lots of good food/ restaurants. Great cafe also. But the pool is tiny and offers limited shade protection. There are cigarette butts and cans all around the property. There are no smoke free areas. Fixtures and furniture are from the 1970s. Its quite charming and in a great area.

Worse experience ever! Very rude front desk employees. The place is run down. In desperate need of touch up paint everywhere. Why are there no wash cloths? The website states designer toiletries. LOL... 3 tiny bottles of no name shampoo conditioner and lotion.There was a burn hole in the comforter. I know I booked a smoking room but, hey can't you use some deodorizers! Some carpet fresh. It smelled so nasty. I couldn't even crack open the window. Oh, and my window looked directly into the pool area.If you like the smell of fried fish then you will love the smell of the elevator. And to top off this horrible stay the charge $45 amenities fee a night and $10 valet parking (even for hotel guests). WOW...

Room was a bit dated. Bed was bouncy. Great view on the 20th floor. Jacuzzi tub jets weren't working great. TV was small to see from the bed. But it was clean and quiet.

First time visiting due to staying in Los Angeles and too far to travel when Vegas is half the distance. Yet somehow I managed to arrive at 2:25 am on a red eye and a smidge of sleep. Needed a room for emergency sleep so got a room didn't care about price, nice enough to give us late check out and can't complain about the needed upgrades even though it gots that old stale we're gonna drain every penny you got vibe. I enjoyed the room and food. Didn't gamble there because you knew you were not gonna walk away a winner by the look of hopelessness and despair that the people showed on their faces every time they fumbled through their pockets acting like they could of sworn they had money in them earlier. But not a bad place to do anything else except gamble.

I had to change my 5 star to 4 stars as a result of them removing their two best pastries from their case and only sell them on special occasions. Their suicide by chocolate pie and coconut cake melted in your mouth! I live downtown and frequented them often until covid hit. I had the occasion to get out and make a run with a friend of mine to introduce them to their amazing desserts, only to find out they have been discontinued. Yes, those two desserts are that good that I had to change their rating.

I LOVE THE ROW!! Each hotel has their own eccentric qualities that make them unique. There really is something for everyone here from the arcade, to table games and Top Golf!! I love the entire staff here because I have a small service animal and they have never given me a hassle about her, from my room to having her with me when Im gambling. Everyone loves her! They always make me feel welcomed!!

We got a mini suit with a king sized bed with a large jetted spa tub in the room so we could watch TV and soak. The bed was aged and saggy, understandable since the casinos lost 2 years of normal revenue due to the stupid covid mandates.Overall our room was clean and comfy with plenty of privacy and amenities. I would stay here again.

Worst experience ever! Do not stay here. Rooms are all dated, very dirty, not worth time or money. Don’t advertise nice looking rooms when that isn’t what we are even going to be able to sleep in. The first room they put us in, the air conditioner wasn’t working. Suffered all night. They finally moved us the next day. Wasn’t any better. Room was dirty and you can smell smoke coming through the vents. Finally cut our vacation short and checked out a day early. When we tried to complain they weren’t very helpful.

Stayed the weekend for our anniversary, booked a suite on the 4th floor. Room wasn't too bad but the air conditioning wasn't great and our bathroom was dirty when we checked into our room . Called front desk who transferred me to housekeeping. The house keeper who came up was rude and not happy about cleaning the bathroom 😒 we spent a lot of money for the room and food while there and was expecting better service. The elevators to the parking garage wasn't working and we had to walk twice during our stay to our car and back. I definitely will look into a different hotel next year . Not worth my money or time .

We enjoyed our stay at the El Dorado. Our spa suite was clean and as expected. The only issue we had was no hot water on our last night. Who wants a cold hot tub? Engineering was no help.Warning to those going mid-week, dining shuts down early. The shutdown the lines around 8:30 pm. This is nice for those that are seated because they aren't rushed out but hard on those hungry.

Part of “The Row”, all the entertainment, food and gaming available in three casinos all Hooked together via the second level so you don’t have to venture outside. Not enough affordable food options, the only quick and affordable food is at the Circus Circus food court with 4 restaurants available, but good luck on days and hours open, not all open all week. The room was good, the room safe was not bolted to the shelf so could be stolen. The TV should let you be able to hook up your streaming product which did not (Atlantis does have that option).

I absolutely loved the fountains upstairs - they were the highlight of my visit to this casino. And let me tell you, the restaurants here are top-notch. While it might not immediately catch your eye, I highly recommend checking it out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here Jan 19th to the 21st the 1st night we had to get a new room because the air didn't work but the lady at the desk was really nice about it. The 2nd room the air worked a little. When you walked into the room it smelled like pot. When we got home all our clothes smelled like pot. And the service at the Cafe was awful 😖

Upon arrival in checking into the room the jacuzzi tub did not work the track lighting did not work the light in the shower did not work. I was charged amenity fees when there is no pool, no jacuzzi, at the property I was offered another property I could walk to with my disabled wife I would have to push in a wheelchair about 2 to 300 yards no thank you. The towel rack in the bathroom fell on my foot when I was trying to take the towel off. I was offered $100 credit for my inconvenience and have been waiting to hear from the manager who has not yet decided to call me back. I will not slander anyone personally however there is a manager there that took the opportunity to raise her voice and scold and yell at me in front of other employees as well as customers. I highly recommend not going to the El Dorado as the service at the front desk is horrible and be careful when you check out they will charge you for things you didn't even use

I'll start with the good. The staff are nice and helpful. The turtle (chocolate covered caramel pecan clusters) from the coffee shop on the mezzanine level is one of the best things I've eaten in my life and it was $2! Five stars!I should have bought 100 turtles instead of gambling two hours at Eldorado and the attached Silver Legacy casino. I'd be fatter, but much happier. Three stars for that.Now onto the reason for two stars. My mom and I got rooms on opposite sides of the hall. I didn't know there would be such a difference in the room views. The room I stayed in had reddish brown crusty splatters on the bathroom walls that were slightly disgusting in that I couldn't tell if they were dead bugs or blood splatter or flossing remnants. There was a yellow streak on one of the clean hand towels that looked like dried lotion, but the hotel lotions and soaps are white. If my mom would have stayed in my room, she would have complained. But by the time I noticed all these things I was getting ready for bed and the rooms were complimentary.

Was here for the cheap rooms on business not for the Casino. But walking in was looking for Frank, Dino and Sammy...it had that old Fremont st vibe...or maybe just old vibe. Room was comfortable and updated a bit. Still my grandparents furniture. It was nice being connected to the other casinos to share food choices since so many had limited hours or days open. Learned pretty quick that the cheap room was more than made up in the overpriced food choices. Definitely scouted out places outside the complex. Service was limited to single desk person who was friendly and helpful but it was slow since only one. Restaurant was about the same. Overall no complaints but not overly impressed either.

Stopped here on a road trip to stretch our legs and lose some money. There are a lot of floors and areas with slot machines. I can’t imagine navigating this place after a drink or two 😵‍💫 There’s a parking garage but it was still difficult finding a spot on a Wednesday afternoon. That said, lots of things to do, I’d consider stopping by again

The rooms were nice. The air conditioning didn't work well and the toilet didn't flush but it was clean and I slept well.We used the conference room which was very reasonable and very nice. The view was also great.

I love my stay there. Went to visit family and got a room. Room was clean but not as big as I would have liked. Video poker machines were hot for me. The VIP Gold room had awesome drinks too. Friendly staff.

Overall, I don't have major complaints about the rooms themselves here. A little dated in some aspects, but the stay was fine, if a bit spartan for the price per night we paid. However, it was things like the pool closing at 7:00 pm, the constant second hand smoke (at least not in the room) and the typical "gotta walk through the casino" feel for it all. Definitely trying to be a little Vegas experience, but maybe just go to Vegas. Cost seems pretty close, but at least the pool stays open after dark?

I will say didnt like the $300 addition to our package deal!!. for stuff we never used!! Gym, pool, and for water, coffee in the room.. An employee told me this..The room itself was great!! However, the bathroom.. toilet/shower area.. the door was an issue for us. A very skinny 12 year old would have an issue getting around that door to pee..and shower..Parking.. well its across the street.. the last two days we were there the elevators were not functioning correctly.. I'm disabled.. climbing stairs in either direction is excruciating.. Saturday we came back early.. my husband had to drop me off and walk 6 blocks back to the hotel! No parking was available! Incase you forgot that 300 charge, that didn't include parking..As for maid service.. we asked for none while we were there..

We had friends in town for the weekend, they complained about the check in process, their rooms we're all paid for in advance, except the resort fee, which they were instructed to pay at check in. The problem was the front desk clerk kept insisting they hadn't paid for their rooms. My friends had to get a Manger to straighten it out. My friends did tell me their rooms were nice and clean. Other than the check in confusion they had a pleasant stay.

I’ve stayed with this resort for over 10 years with no issues. I’ve always been met with the finest hospitality and great times until now. I came in late Saturday night to check and requested a king room. Went to check in and they put me in a double queen room and charged me for it. Went back to the front desk and asked for a supervisor to correct the error to be put in a king size room. The original reservation was for a non smoking room. The supervisor put us in a smoking king bedroom… the place staunched so badly of cigarettes that my luggage smelled like putrid smoke all the way home with all my clothes and work clothes. I was still charged with a double queen rate… I today called the front desk several times just to try to remedy the issue and every time the call was transferred to the front desk manager, it would automatically hang up. This makes me sad to post this review because of all the good times I’ve had here but the take over of Cesar’s entertainment has failed this place it seems. You don’t get the direct hospitality as you use to. It’s killed the small town Reno vibe. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Reno the Peppermill and Renaissance Hotel downtown are the places I’d recommend instead. I for one will not be returning.

I'll never give any Caesar's property any of my money ever again. The room smells like mold in my car got broken into and they did nothing. They wouldn't even comp me a room for the night while I get it fixed. Or even at least refund my resort fee.All seasons properties are garbage to me now. And I've been staying at them for the last couple weeks. They'll never get a dime from me or anybody I know. I'm posting this on all my social media.

Kinda old but okay slots. Little sports area. They also have a movie theater. Located by Starbucks. Doesn't seem to always be running movies. Food smells good yet haven't dine there. They are connected to silver legacy and circus circus. Rooms are okay, suites are nice. They have a pool and a small gym. Plus a very small jewelery store.

My husband got stuck in parking elevator for an hour. The fire department had to get him out. The office too incident report and was supposed to contact him. We have never heard from them. Not even a meal comp. I will not be staying there again.Also the Italian restaurant was over priced and food was terrible. Pasta wasn't even done.

I traveled from Sacramento California to spend my birthday I this beautiful resort. upon arriving I was informed that my booking I did for my third-party was not booked for the suite that I wanted. I talk to the manager Christina and she looked at my information and helped me right away. She got me the room that I booked. I was so pleased with her service and how humble and caring she was for my special day. As I walked in my suite, I nearly cried and was in love with it room. It was immaculate, clean, and the view was breathtaking. Thank you so much for making my birthday special day . ❤️

The deluxe room was free, I would have been mad if I had to pay! Requested blankets to cover the dirty chair and small sofa. Walking into the room, was like walking into the 70's. The parking lot elevators are disgusting! Come on El Dorado you can do better! I have to admit some of the rooms are nice, but not the one I was in!

I'd have to say that this casino gets better and better each time I visit there is always some new tricks up their sleeves to make the community feel comfortable and peaceful and enjoy their time. I always love the vibe I get and the smile it puts on my face. I'd definitely live here if I was aloud to.

If you like old smelly rooms with broken fixtures then this is your hotel. If a lack of customer service is what you are seeking then the ladies at the front desk got you covered. With so many other choices in Reno I don't know what the heck we're doing here. We are never coming back again.

A well run children's museum with interactive exhibits. We saw the dinosaur exhibit and we were informed that the candy land exhibit is no longer occuring. Please call ahead if your unsure, staff is polite and the museum has a stamp pass for kids or groups. ADA accessible

What a fun place with the traveling exhibit. The story and artifacts from Wilbur May were also dramatic. Glad he made it all possible. The staff was accessible and willing to help with the interactives.

This place is a nice spot for picnics and a great spot for pictures.They have a nice hall somewhere inside the museum that can serve as a hall for special functions like weddings and the decorations in this hall is so lit.Overall the park is nice and a good place to be

It is a beautiful venue for many different exhibits, and the staff is lovely. Sierra Watercolor Society regularly holds its art exhibits there, and we also hold three or four children's free watercolor workshops there each year. Its gift shop has quality items from all over the world. Hours are limited (Wed-Sat 10-4, Sun noon-4), but it is well worth a visit.

Definitely a hidden gym in a beautiful park in northern Reno. How one man could do so much in his life is certainly incredible. Would have loved to see more of his connection to the different collections and what time frame he added all of it. Such a well done museum some of the best exhibits ever in a small museum and what a great way to honor a local son.

I was not expecting such a variety or quantity of unusual items. The taxidermy alone would have been worth it, but there are extra cultural items like masks and weaponry that were just fascinating. The Arboretum is gorgeous and huge. Pretty sure I only got through some of it, and I would go back just to explore outside more. Can't recommend enough, any plant or bird lover would have a great time enjoying all the wildlife.

The Wilbur D. May Canter Museum is an awesome museum to visit in Reno. It costs only $6 and is fairly small, but has a ton of artifacts and collectibles that Wilbur May collected during his lifetime. There is also alot.of history of Wilbur May and insightful information. Highly recommend visiting if in the area and can easily spend an hour or more in the museum center.

The museum is SMALL however the quality of the Artifacts is amazing . This is the ONLY place in NEVADA in which you can see a REAL HUMAN SHRUNKEN HEAD . The Wilbur collection is interesting from Animals to guns to artifacts to different kind of weapons .Worth my time and trip there .The Wilbur is a PERMANENT Exhibit then in other rooms they have traveling exhibits. Now they are having a " Hero Theme " and I must say...I am not a kid , I don't have kids but I had so much fun!

My daughter had her wedding at the museum. It was a very nice and beautiful site for this.. we also had the garden reserved for the ceremony but it was raining and we were able to use the back porch area and it held the 70 to 80 people attending. I am very pleased with the outcome and venue. My daughter has ever been so happy so mission accomplished. Thank you.

So many things to see! Horses and trails and the views are fantastical! Don't miss the ghost town! Incredibly authentic!Something for everyone!

There are plenty of historical artifacts to check out throughout the park. The flume trail was unique experience with good views. All of the trails are stroller friendly, some sections get a little narrow though. There is even a trail connector to the adjacent Anderson park.

Wonderful afternoon spent in the fresh air, learning history and climbing on it!

Great bridle trails or hiking. Areas to turn out your horses. Great, great views over entire Washoe Valley . Antique farming implements. Old school house etc!!

Pretty little hike within Barley Ranch Regional Park... A trailhead is off the parking lot south of the historic school house. This park actually has a few little historic Reno shout-outs. Boomtown donated some historic house structures and there are some antique wagons, farm equipment, etc. The views from the hike are so pretty and you get to see some wildlife on the nature hike too.

Thursday July 13, 2017, my wife and I attended a concert at the outdoor amphitheatre. If they ever have a concert there I would go again. The band that played there was Prince's old band, The Revolution, and they performed magnificently. The seats at the venue are suitable for people of considerable size. The only con about those seats is you may need to bring you a cushion for your tush.

This is advertised as a trail for on-lead dogs, but I saw many people with off leash dogs present. My small, on-leash dog was attacked by two unleashed doodles. Use caution if bringing your dog.

Beautiful park. So many different areas. We had our employee bbq while a wedding and 2 other parties were going on and we didn't even know. We were still well secluded.Very well maintained landscape. Horse area to watch people ride. Lots of parking.Very nice restrooms.
