Who knew that the government offered free playrooms for wee-ones throughout Hong Kong? While some are more popular than others, the playrooms are cleaned regularly and offer a free alternative for indoor play in areas that don't have many choices. There are often other add-on activities in the same facility, like a library or market. There are 31 playrooms in total, but we round up the best 10 here for you and your tykes.

Although they might not be real aquariums, they sure provide the entertainment. Visit the fishing restaurants along the waterfront in Sai Kung, Lamma Island, or any of Hong Kong's favorite go-to fish restaurants by the sea. The cat is out of the bag folks! This secret beach and playground is not only a treat for the whole family, it is also super easy to access, too! Chung Hom Kok Beach is located down the road from Stanley Plaza and offers a true hidden oasis for kids of all ages. A clean beach, a rockin' playground, bungalows for picnics, and fresh air... see you on the sand.

No visit to Hong Kong would be complete without a visit to The Peak. Queue to get on the tram or take a hike up to the top via Bowen Road. Both ways ensure wonderful sights, and once you’re up there, shop at the mall and market and take a stroll around the stroller-friendly path.
