How awesome is this:Dr. Amanda Hess was 9 months pregnant with complications and was in the hospital to be induced into labor. She was putting on her gown when she overheard that a mother in another room needed an emergency delivery because her baby was in distress, but her doctor wasn’t available. Despite her own situation, Dr. Hess threw on another gown over her bare backside, put some oversized boots over her flip-flops, and delivered the woman’s baby. Then she gave birth to her baby an hour later!True story.

"This sweet couple, Carrie and Craig, thought they couldn’t have children, so they adopted twins here in the United States. The twins were born on February 28th. The next year the birth mother delivered another set of twins born on February 28th. Yes, the same day! The birth mother wanted these babies to go to the same family and so ... this incredible couple adopted her second set of twins! The One Chance Foundation from Karen Kingsbury awarded them a grant to help pay for the second adoption. Shortly after the second adoption, Carrie became pregnant and found out she was carrying TWINS! And ... they were born on the following February 28th! Adoption changes lives forever and always." There is an empty chair nationwide for many families this weekend. This weekend, my family and I will be thinking of four friends I had a direct connection with that are no longer here.Their families mourn and grieve their loss daily but this weekend, take a moment to quietly acknowledge their sacrifice.Reflect on and acknowledge their families also. Wives and husbands forever separated; children growing up not knowing a parent.A lot was asked and the service member and their family gave all.Our country is great because of people like them.May God bless them!

“A pizza man was knocking on the front door of the Sheely family house, suspecting nothing, thinking this was just going to be another routine pizza delivery. He thought wrong! A little boy named Cohen ran out of the house ahead of his mom & gave the pizza man a huge hug. Lindsey Sheely, Cohen’s mom, ran out behind him to grab him & apologize. At this moment Lindsey didn’t know that this was a hug that the pizza man, Ryan, really needed. He had unexpectedly lost his 16-year-old daughter the week prior. The girl lived with his ex-wife in California, and sadly the teen had struggled with mental health issues. The impromptu hug from Cohen, although seemingly innocent on the surface, came at a time when Ryan desperately needed it, & it touched him very deeply. He stated “After losing my daughter this past week, it touched me because it was like she was there. It really just meant a lot to me.” What a sweet moment”Credit: Matt Potter

A lot of grade-school aged kids may have stayed away from my sister Mary or thought she was weird because she has Downs Syndrome. But not Ben. He always looked out for her, always made sure to pick her on his team at recess and even made a promise to her in 4th grade to take her to the prom someday. 7 years later, he made good on that promise and in the process put a smile on Mary's face & restored my faith in humanity. Have a great time at the prom you two!Credit: Tom Lapkowicz

Neal McDonough stood by his values even when it meant potentially sacrificing his career. Despite being known for his roles in steamy series, McDonough refused to do any intimate scenes on screen. This included not just provocative scenes and full nudity but even little moments of intimacy, like kissing. McDonough insisted that he would only kiss his wife, and this vow to his partner almost ended his career. He struggled to find work, but his morals remained intact. It's inspiring to see someone stand by their beliefs, even in the face of adversity. #integrity #values #career #hollywood

What's going on here? This is truly astounding.Since 2000, the National Football League (NFL) has witnessed a concerning number of player arrests, including 257 for Driving Under the Influence, 131 for Illegal Drugs, 129 for Domestic Violence, 120 for Assault and Battery, and 72 for Traffic Violations.Despite this, the NFL recently criticized Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker for his commencement speech, where he spoke about glorifying God and living a life pleasing to Him.This situation reflects 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, highlighting the challenges faced by those who stand for the Truth in a world where false beliefs prevail.Let us acknowledge and bless the few courageous men in the NFL who boldly proclaim their faith, despite the risks to their popularity and livelihoods. Stand strong for what you believe in. #nfl #cheifs #faith
