Well if you already have 7735HS performance jump is a lot. So I would stick with 7735 but if you have 6900hx even with Radeon 680 the higher-end 7735HS is closer to 7740HS. So if you have 6900hx, not the 7000 series then yes I would upgrade. if not 7735HS is too close so I would not upgrade.

The 7735HS is the same Zen3+ 6nm chip as the 6900HX; it's simply a rebranding of the 6000 series.On the other hand, the 7840HS is a superior Zen4 4nm chip, which is much more efficient.
